    Offroad Wintergreen vs. General Wintergreen

    ...portions that is...

So, ya, I LOVE the Offroad Wintergreen. Never thought I'd like a flavored snus, but this is great. reminds me of kodiak.

Offroad Original and General Original taste completely different. Anyone try the General Wintergreen?

I like General Wintergreen every once in a while, but there is a strange fakeness to it that I find hard to describe....almost like a chemical or greasy taste if that makes any sense. It's weird because most people describe Offroad's flavored versions as having the "fake" tastes.

It does taste like regular General to me, but the wintergreen over the top of it is pretty strong.

I just ordered the general as my free can from getsnus. I am curious to see what I think of it, I do love wintergreen. I will let you all know my take when it arrives.

        Is General Wintergreen US only?

        Offroad Wintergreen loose is superb.

It smells a lot like Coppenhagen chew. That was the first thing I noticed. It's my favorite snus yet and i've tried a lot of the flavors.

As far as I know it is. All of the local state-side tobacco shops have it (the ones that carry the usual General line, anyway), but it's never listed on any of the Swedish sites.

And yeah, OR Wintergreen los is one of my favorites, too. 8) If they ever made the General version in los, I'd be very interested.

Okay, the burning has subsided and the flavor has at last revealed itself. Not bad for a minty snus, slightly sweet but not cloying and you can taste teh tobacco and salt.

General Wintergreen is made exclusively for the U.S. market. I think it would be successful if Swedish Matched distributed it to gas stations and convenience stores nationwide, as opposed to only being in a limited amount of cigar shops at this time.

I like this one a lot more than I do Triumph, it doesn't taste like aspartame.

I had that problem recently. I think that white portions are oftentimes too compacted and redistributing the tobacco can get the flavors to start more quickly. When I tried that with the General Wintergreen the end opened up and tobacco fell all over the place.
