Oh... so it is true that Finland's customs are bullshit. But there was mentioned in the news that there is this new law that allows snus when taxes are properly paid few months ago... I am not sure about how it exactly was, I'll try to find it.

Interesting, I would, however, play it safe and limit it to 5 cans per order, free shipping at snusline so not going to cost more.

Do they still send 5 can orders in letters? I've been buying in 4 cans each but 5 cans would be much better.

And I tried to find the article, and it says things only about a private person. A private person can bring 30 cans for his own use, but buying snus from outside EU or inside is illegal, but not criminalized. Interesting... but I'll stick to 4 cans (or 5 cans if they're willing to send them in a letter).

a heads up...

it would appear, due to the Odens mix up...that orders are still pretty slow coming. I've ordered from Snusline about 5x now and it's been really good, really fast. Usually processed and shipped within 24 hours, 48 max, arriving in London, about in about 4 days....but this time, seeing that Odens was offered, I added a few cans to my order, and it's been about a week, still processing. If you want snus fast... I wouldn't get Odens atm. I'm going to assume they are backlogged with Odens orders that weren't immediately filled...so, i'd wait until they have a steady supply...i'm hoping they will develop a system that allows us to know what's in stock and what's not... I probably would have waited on ordering some Odens if i knew it would delay my entire order.

Yap, I've been waiting for my Odens order also for a week now (probably because of the delay...). I hope they get stocked up and running with Odens soon.

an update:

i contacted Snusline, and inquire nicely about the status of my order (10 days processing). I asked if there were particular items holding up the shipping, and if so, would I be able to have the available items shipped now, and wait for the rest. They replied quite quickly, and apologized for the wait, explaining that Oden's Extreme Vanilla and Oden's Cold Extreme were not available, due to a production delay on the other end. All of the out of stock Odens will be arriving mid next week. They said, if I wanted, i could swap out the unavailable items in my order for other things, even, more expensive items, at no added cost...and they would ship it immediately today.

I replied to them in the morning, and checked my email at lunch break... they acknowledged my changes and shipped.

This is really a great business so far i think....no hassle no headache, great customer service... and really the issue they are having isn't massive or their error...but they are quick to rectify if it's an inconvenience. They also now have, "out of stock" written under items ... not in stock...

Well I hope that 'in stock' 'out of stock' thing works and is up to date. Their reply to my communication was good......however the order I put in on the 5th arrived today the 25th.

What has annoyed me slightly is that if I was a vendor that had kept somebody waiting that long, I'd add a couple of cans as a sweetener - especially since before it shipped they were giving a few tins free on 69 anyway....just not when I ordered nearly a month ago.

Yeah it does sound familiar Govegan but GN did explain that it was partly his fault. The main fault though lies with snusline who didn't indicate that they were out of stock.

Ordered 5 tins on April 16th, just received them today (25th) - 1 week from Israel to Canada is great, and the best part is no duties/customs!

The delay is over. I had four tins on order that were held up for 6 days. Ordered on the 12th but they finally got shipped on the 18th. I didn't even complain but they still sent me an email apologizing for the delay. I've had nothing but good experiences ordering from this company and will continue to order from them. The prices are good and the free shipping is a great bonus. I just wish they had a better selection, but they do seem to be gradually expanding their stock as time goes on.
