    Ah, Cartoons these days.

Cartoons have changed so much since I was a kid.

They used to be about mindless fun, watch and enjoy - you're not learning anything, but dammit! You're having a good time. Like the Ghostbusters cartoon. I wasn't trying to learn how to trap ghosts, I just wanted to relax and let me brain chill.

Cartoons these days, wow! My daughter has a deep loving for Dora The Explorer (which teaches Spanish) and Ni Hao Kai Lan (which teaches Chinese). I don't know how the writers were able to do it, but my child actually knows Spanish and Chinese words and uses them in sentences.

It's interesting to see how far we've come. But, I still miss Ghostbusters.

The Real Ghostbusters was one of the scariest cartoons of the 80's and I couldn't get enough. I have sadly downloaded and bought this show and do watch it time to time when the mood strikes.(cough...bubble bubble cough)

80s cartoons were the best. But it seems like everyone speaks so of "their" generation. I love He-Man, and all them too. It's sad that that "spirit" of cartoon is not really around anymore. It either split into TOTALLY adult or TOTALLY children, there's not much middle ground like their used to be. Everyone could watch Ghostbusters and they all loved it.

I think I was in the only gereration that really got to watch all of the old 60's and 70's cartoons along with 80's cartoons. It didn't hurt that my dad like to watch them with me.
