So, I am PACT paranoid.
I am already hoarding a LOT of snus. Not a LOT for a newbie. A LOT in general. No really, a LOT.
My paranoia has lead me to the conclusion that before too long I will have to grow my own tobacco and Snus will be a nice way to prepare it. So, my long-term plan is to master that.
My first step on this path was to amass a stash of snus to get me by for some undisclosed period of time. This is well underway. This will relieve the pressure on my other plans.
Step two is to get some SnusX and get flavoring snus figured out. Because, let's face it, any tobacco I grow is going to be pretty rough. I better get good with flavoring it well in advance.
So, to that end...
I did some in-depth research the other night. Well, I googled, "flavor extracts" and found this company. http://www.faeriesfinest.com/extracts.html
Today I ordered a bucket of SnusX from Northerner and 4 flavor extracts from "Faeries Finest" (no fairy jokes in here buddy!).
1 E125e - coffee flavor - 2 fl oz $3.99
1 E151e - clear cherry flavor extract - 2 fl oz $3.99
1 E171e - berry blend flavor extract - 2 fl oz $3.99
1 E001e - vanilla extract - 2 fl oz $4.99
If these work out I'll try some others. Well, probably not. If these work out I'll probably just make coffee/vanilla. I don't know. Some of those 78 flavors look really good though.
And there is an interesting overlap between them and existing snus flavors. (snif, snif, conspiracy?, secret supplier relations? hmmm)
If these don't work well. They also have essential oils. http://www.faeriesfinest.com/essential-oils.html
Again, interesting flavors... Bergamot? Wintergreen? Blood Orange? (oops, maybe not that last one, but it sounds good)
So, tune back in, maybe next week, depending on shipping, and how much stuff my wife and kids have planned for me this weekend...
Soon we will be mixing up batches of (bwaa ha ha ha) Frankensnus! Oh, wait, bakerbarber used that back in 2008...
Soon we will be mixing up batches of (bwaa ha ha ha) Were-Snus!! (Weresnus? Were-snus? anyway...)
