This was cool because I had only used the big ones before, I think they were 72 plant ones. So, it was nice to find these small ones, since I only want to do a few plants this year.
If everything works out this year, I'll fence off a chunk of my backyard and grown a couple hundred plants next year.
So, these seed starters are the "Jiffy" kind with the peat pellets in the bottom of them:
So, I got them home and then added the warm water to them.
After a couple hours I opened up the tops and smoothed out the peat a bit.
I then added about 5 seeds to each of the expanded peat pellets. I was going for about 2-3 seeds each, but these seeds are REALLY tiny.
The weather is finally cooperating, so they are out on the porch getting some sun now.
On the SnusX side of things, Both of the cans I made are usable. They need a bit more flavor, IMO.
Of the 2, the berry blend is the best. Coffee vanilla seems to be harder then it sounds to get right - I may switch to just coffee until I get that right, then add the vanilla.
After I finish off these 2 cans, I will be trying again.
Next time, 50% more flavor for each of them and I think we will mix these up in a bowl this time, the spraying in the can, while it worked, resulted in weird looking portions (half white, half dark).
