Well, hello there everyone!

I started using snus in April 2010 (November 2009) on a whim. I've had two cigarettes in my life and occasionally smoked cigars, but heard of a less harmful tobacco product on the market called Snus. Well, I picked up a can of Marlboro Spearmint in November 2009, (hence the two dates, I started Swedish in 4/10) and thought, this isn't bad. I then moved onto Camel Frost and eventually on to General Dry Mini Mint in April 2010 and then onto General Mint.

I spent hours upon days doing research on snus and came to the same conclusion that everyone else has... while not anything is ever harmless, snus is pretty close. My consumption rate is far below that of an average snuser in Sweden (1-1.5 cans per week to 3.5 cans in Sweden) so I have faith that though it is tobacco, it is a more safe and tasty alternative to smoking.

Currently, I have tried and enjoyed 28 brands and types of snus.

Los: General, Goteborgs Prima Fint

Portion: General, Ettan, Julesnus, Gotlandssnus Flader, Jakobsson's Ice Fruit, Olde Viking Spearmint, Offroad Cranberry, and have Kronan on the way

Vit: General, General Mint, General Wintergreen, Goteborgs Rape no.2, Roda Lacket

Strong Portion: General Onyx, Nick and Johnny Strong, Jakobsson's Strong Mint, Jakobsson's Strong Wintergreen, Thunder Extra Strong Frosted, Thunder Extra Strong

Mini Vit: General Dry Mini Mint, Goteborgs Rape Mini

Purified: Northerner/Oomph/Wise Citrus/Menthol 6mg

American: Marlboro Spearmint, Marlboro Rich, Marlboro Mild, Camel Frost, Skoal Mint Snus

I have preached the good of snus to friends, family, and co-workers who smoke, hoping to convert them from cigarettes to snus. I purchased a can of Offroad Long Cut Wintergreen for my father and an old co-worker. I have yet to deliver for my father, but my co-worker is sold on it from his old Grizzly Wintergreen I will do whatever I can to convert all I can to snus, but respect the decision of others not to convert.

Any thoughts?
