One thing I didn't really take into account well enough when embarking on this 100 snus thing is that although I have a pretty good memory and my reasoning for preferring one snus over another, the fact of the matter is people's tastes change. Numerous members here have posted about how they used to like this and now love that. Most if not all have at least a few types they rotate in and out based upon the situation or, once again, their tastes. How this relates to this blog is that with only one more than a dozen tried so far I am finding that things I go back to after some time away either aren't as good (i.e. General WP) or are better than I recall (Offroad Frosted). I could say that it is because my palate is more refined now that I have tried various brands and that I am starting to pick out the subtle notes that peek out when you really concentrate on a flavor profile....but that sounds kinda arrogant and although it may have a grain of truth to it, I imagine it is minor at best. I think the reality is that my tastes change, just like everyone else's, but with this product it seems to happen much more "rapidly" than with another product like favorite bottled beer or type of toothpaste or toilet paper.
So for now I think I am going to start grouping these together with as much hierarchal preference as I can within those groups. I think this will help me generate "tiers of preference" or TOPs where I can put a new snus and then move within that tier as my tastes evolve.
Who knows...this may make it even harder than my pure numerical list but the fun is in the adventure, right?
I only have one more brand that I have yet to open. The plan is to use it exclusively the whole day tomorrow and see what if any difference this makes in my feelings about it. BTW, it is General Onyx for any who are curious...
Thanks for reading!
What was I thinking?

For me it was pretty easy to figure out what I don't like and why.....but I had heartburn to help me out.
Overall I have this nagging feeling that I need more "data" and that more iterations will help to get a clearer picture....so off to the freezer I go to open a can of Onyx
I use only Gotlandssnus, v2 and GN brands now and have no more problems. No smoke flavor.....or at least not enough to hurt me.
Imo you should explore the Jakobsson's line specifically the classic. A different take on the "classic" flavor and, much better than General
