I know, I need to stop with the cheesy titles, I just can't help myself. OK, the next two I am going to review are Jak's Flader and Göteborgs Rapé No2.

Per the title the apples one should be easy. The Flader for me has a nice mellow Golden Delicious or Gala apple-like taste. Not green tart nor red and mealy sweet and not real strong. I REALLY like that there is no Saccharin (E954) like in the Jak's Wintergreen or Mint per their labels. In retrospect that is the note I was oddly calling "soapy" when I first start snusing. Go figure, my personal tastes changed, imagine that

Anyway, as I have stated before I believe I am assimilating into the standard fold of a user who has the more flavored types, whether it be mint, fruit, etc., as "between" portions; a few a day in between standard pure types (i.e. today was a Jak's WG and later a Jak's Flader interspersed between 5 portions of Rothbrix Brown). I like the Flader but it probably won't be a regular buy or be used more than two in a row because the carryover when doing this is significant for me. All in all another plus for Jak's, the second brand (other than GN's) where I like all the varieties sampled thus far. Swedish Match is another story...

In their defense they do make a gazillion brands and the likelihood of everyone liking or disliking all their offerings is extremely remote. You can't say they are one dimensional...for me though the Göteborgs Rapé No2 is nothing but that. I am unfamiliar with Lingonberry; never had the chance to use or make flavors back in the day with that profile. I agree with what Northerner has posted that it is akin to a sweet cranberry but that is all I get. Again, this is all me, since I know this is a favorite with some people. It is just too overpowering. The tobacco and other notes are there, don't get me wrong, they are just covered by a blanket of berry. I tried to chain snus a couple portions and couldn't do it, it was too much. I have the feeling that I will have this can for some time, occasionally using a portion to fill gaps in my daily flavor rotation begrudgingly as a single "between" portion. Now the Göteborgs Rapé (Original, No 1?) for me is much better; its leads with the tobacco and has only a mild berry twinge...not a slap.

I think that will cover it for this installment, promise to work on my titles and check my stock. I think I only have one left to review and that is 02 (I didn't plan that to rhyme!)

As always, thanks for reading!

PS: Decided to just scrap the "Traditional berry/Herby" category and just lump all the non-mint, non-bergamot-like, non-pure tobacco types into one category.
