Red Man Original Loose Leaf Chewing Tobacco(Green Pouch)

OK, I've had this a couple of times before. It's been a while since I had some, and I went to the grocery today with the intent of getting some of that new Skoal Xtra Crisp, but as usual the store didn't have it. So, I looked at the rack in a daze, calling out stuff to the store worker who as usual had no idea what all that stuff was, and as usual, they didn't have anything I called out. I was about to leave, so I went about shopping. I have an order from Lil' Brown on the way(or I thought), but I thought still, it might be good to get something to curb any jonesin' if the order doesn't come in time my single open bag of Trophy chew lasts. They did have some Cumberland Twist, which is pretty good remembering from that one time I had that, but I opted instead to get a bag of original Red Man, as it's been a long while since I had it. it was $4.99, over $5 with tax. Glad I did too, as when I got home, there was a message on the phone saying an item was out of stock in my Lil' Brown order, so it probably won't get mailed out till Monday.

OK, so, RED MAN chew, the orginal green bag. I opened it up, and I noticed the zip-lock was not fully zipped, and I was hoping it hadn't dried out. I pulled some out, it did seem a little dry, but I put it in my mouth, and no, it was not dry, it was fine.

What can I say, but this is a very good chew. It has a sweet flavor, as they all do. Many say it's like raisins, I guess in a way, but raisins are good too. Very soft leaves, comfortable mouth feel. Juiced up very well. Tastes good. I still think Levi Garrett original is my fave chew, but this is fine. Can't say anything bad about it. I do wish chew was cheaper, but a bag of chew does last me longer than a can of dip. So, I guess it's comparable. There are cheaper chews out there too, which I think it just as good. Trophy Chew is like half the price. Starr chew is very good too, but I never see it anymore, unless at a tobacco store.

Chew isn't known for having a high nic content, but for some reason I am feeling it this time, though I haven't really eaten anything today too.

I guess out of a 1-5 score, this is a 3.5. A good solid chew.

Don't care for the taste of it, but I do like that sometimes you find a chuck of thick juicy leaves that you can chew for an hour and still have flavor/juice. I don't care much for scrap, save a few brands. I like levi garrett plug, but I hate levi garrett scrap.
