    Stoker's Apple Chew

    Reviews for Stoker's Apple Chew

I just received an 8 oz bag of this chew from LilBrown (free shipping). I had also ordered another type of chew and a 5 can log of Kodiak, but what I smelled when I opened the box was the enticing aroma of Granny Smith apples. I was excited to tear open the zip-locked bag. Wow. I was met with what seemed like a huge quantity of very moist and thinly cut strips of tobacco leaf about 4 to 6 inches long with few stems. The smell was actually a little diminished in the bag from what I was expecting.

I grabbed a generous sized chaw out of the bag and stuffed it in the mouth. Working it a bit with the teeth and tongue I moved it over to the side and began chewing gingerly. My mouth instantly flooded with saliva. This chew really gets my mouth watering fast. Very sweet at first with extremely dark spit for the first 10 minutes or so, but with chew this really just depends on how fast you chew it up. The flavor is almost identical to green apple Starbursts, not exactly natural, but not overpowering like Sour Apple Pucker schnapps. I normally prefer natural chews, but this one is great. I didn't really want to spit with this one, it tasted that good.

Within 5 minutes I was feeling the nic hit. This seems much stronger than Red Man. The nic lasted a good 20-25 minutes. I dumped the chaw after about 40 minutes when there was virtually no flavor left and I had masticated the leaves to bits.

I recommend this one to anybody who likes the occasional loose-leaf chew. I think I will be finding excuses to go out in the yard and garage to pop one in seeing as I have a half-pound to chew through. Happy snusing/dipping/chewing/snuffing.

I like this stuff alot! But its not as good as the apple jack IMO. This one reminds me of baked apple pie, while the jack reminds me of fresh picked apples. but regardless stokers makes a good apple chew. This one also has some nice quality leaves and its cleaned rather well, I didn't get any stems or end cuts in my 3oz bag. I personally didn't notice much nicotine though, I never do unless I pinch a huge chaw, I chew mainly for the flavor and I like to spit.

It has been a life saver for me. It is readily available here and not to expensive. I was attempting to convert to snus, but it is getting harder and harder to get so I think I will stick to My apple and peach stokers and my snuff til snus is available in stores here. To big of a pain to get snus.
      goodnight everyone.

That's going to be my next bag of Stoker's. I should have just ordered both but that would been a hell of a lot of chew.

Stokers chew lasts forever in the bag. I have a bag of Tennessee chew that has been open since around christmas. I notice no difference in it now from when I opened it.

I rarely chew. But when I do....it is Stokers.

That little grocery store I go to has all the flavors and both kinds of Dip at reasonable prices. Next tome I'm in there I will remember to get some Black Cherry. They all sound temping though.
Before I started snusing I hated spitting now I love chewing and spitting as much as snusing.
