    CHEW REVIEW: TROPHY Chewing Tobacco

    OK,
I just bought some TROPHY loose leaf chewing tobacco that comes in a pouch, with a zip-lock.
This is a cheaper priced chew. My local store always has it in bags of 2 pouches, for $4.79.

I have bought this a few times before, probably because it's like half the price of the big names, like Red Man, Levi Garrett etc.

But aside from is being a cheaper price, this is a good chew, and I think it stands out as unique in flavor and level of sweetness. As you know(or should) most chews are basically sweetened tobacco leaves, as this is also, but many brands(most) to me, seem very sweet. This one is not. It does have a sweetness, but more subdued, but just enough to have a good taste, and allow a good blending flavor with the tobacco.

This is made by National Tobacco out of Louisville, KY. I am not sure what other brands they make. The tobacco quality is good, soft leaves, not many stems, or any, as I haven't come across any yet.

I'd recommend this chew for those who like chew. It's a decent chew that has a distinct not super sweet taste.
