    Anyone had Cotton Boll twist?

I just got a twist of this from snus.de - I don't really like chewing tobacco when used correctly - but I missed the old Swedish Match EU tobacco cuts and figured cutting these in to snus sized pieces and upper lipping them might be similar.

It's almost the same as the Röda Lacket cuts in flavour because the tobacco is air dried with only the slightest touch of honey. The taste is really mild - like hay and honey mixed together. The twists are not as tight as the SM ones, but can easily be cut in to snusable pieces and used like a really convenient lös. And the nic - blimey! I think if I used the sort of amount that chewers use then I'd be on the floor by now.

Is there anything I should worry about health wise using this kind of tobacco in the upper lip? - it doesn't taste too sweet, but definitely has some honey in it.

Also anyone know if there's an alternative way of getting this in the UK? Snus.de is pretty expensive at the best of times and a twist (60g) is €4.95 - I bet it's much cheaper in the states.

I've never seen the twists near me. I think that might be farther south, or perhaps in the mountain regions. American leaf chew is pretty safe health-wise. but be careful of the sugar. It sounds like that doesn't have quite as much as regular leaf, but it doesn't take much to rot teeth.

Don't you guys have twist chew over there? I think Samuel Gawith makes some, and there might be other companies. That might be easier to get than American chew.

Have you tried any of the Gawith ones? They taste like they've been cured in the exhaust of a diesel van and then dipped in tar. They taste really poisonous and are pretty much exclusively used in pipes. Having said that, yes they are much easier to get!

This Cotton Boll tasted like a natural fresh tobacco product on the other hand.

I've had Cotton Boll. It's very common here in the south, but I don't care much for it now. It's basically plug chew in a twist. My favorite of the twist chew was Good Money and I also used plug chew now and again and of that I liked Days O Work. They're all very similar.
