Just opened a bag of Trophy. This stuff is different, and good. Not just a one note "sweet". But has a less sweet bolder taste.

Black cherry, tennessee chew, apple, tequila sunrise, 32-c stokers are my favorite chew. Cannon-ball, bloodhound, and king-b twist are great as well

tried some day o' work plug and it was nasty and too sweet.

I bought some plain Amish chew when i was up in Strousburg last summer and really like it but it was a little twiggy.

I prefer the unadulturated taste of plain. i prefer bitter over sweet

I thought the plus was OK. But I might not get any again, I just like the pouch leaf more.

I picked up a pouch of Beech-Nut wintergreen chew, and it seemed the bag was not sealed well, as it was kinda dry, but I went on and tried it, and it was terrible. I can't even think of trying any more.

Currently have a chew in of Starr. I like this one.

Today I picked up a pouch of Red Man Silver, had a free coupon.

Also picked up a Twist, Cumberland Sweet Twist. I haven't had any twists before, and they had a few, but they all seemed dry and hard, but this one was soft in a foil bag, so I got that.

They also had a variety of Stokers, and other stuff I've never tried, but I don't wanna hoard chew, as I think it might dry out. And I can get this stuff locally.

Trying the Red Man Silver right now for the 1st time.

It's not bad, but different from the regular. This one is sugar free, and I guess that's a good thing. But, so far, I think I prefer the regular Red Man, sugar and all. But it's not bad.... I'll see how it goes.

Maybe it not being sugar is whats making it a toss up. A guy at work swears on the stuff.

                  Ever try W.D. yet?

                    No, never had the WD.

I don't think I really like the RM Silver Blend, it's not terrible, but to me, something about this acidic citrusy fruit sweetner, just doesn't seem to work well with the tobacco, for me anyway. The juicy sweetness reminds me of a grapefruit. I don't hate it, but I don't "like" it.

The only chew I hated and could not use a second time at all, was Beech Nut Wintergreen. But I don't know 100% if I got a good or bad bag, as it seemed the seal was not fully closed and it seemed kinda dry, but either way I thought it tasted very bad, and I spit it out within 5 or so mins.

Today, I picked up a chew I've never had before, Red Man Golden Blend.
Gonna open it up in a few minutes. I suspect it will be good.

Just an update, the Red Man Silver is not bad at all. If it didn't say "Sugar Free" on the label, I would not have known. Knowing, the sweetness is a bit different, but not much, and it does have that same or similar sweet chew taste. I don't think I like it as much as their Golden Blend which I got last weekend, or their original, but it's not bad, and the free coupon was well used, I finished off the pouch today.

I also picked up some Cumberland Twist, and this is really good, though I think I prefer standard loose leaf. But I took some sissors and cut the twist, into what seems like the pics of the General Tobacco Cuts, and it's not bad at all, very juicy, with a sweetness.

                        Mini review of:

                        Morgan's Chewing Tobacco.

Overall, this is pretty good, but of the other chews I have had(not counting Beech Nut Wintergreen), this is the least good. And the reason is, it's really too sharply sweet, I want to say crunchy sweet, like cotton candy, in that it actually becomes kind of hard. It's not bad, does not taste bad, just a very sharp crunchy sweetness. It's good, in that, I have no reason to not finish it, but it's hard-like crunchy sweetness is not as good as the softness one finds in other brands. It's not a rebuy, but if offered free, it's ok, and it's ok for a recommendation to try if one is interested. It seems pretty popular here as it's at all the local grocery stores.

Just opened a bag of Taylor's Pride chew. I should have opened this a week or so ago when I first got it, cuz it's kinda dry. Oh well, seems these bags don't seal very well. But as it is, it's got a good flavor, and it is juicing up. The botom of the bag might me moister. This pouch doesn't have that resealable thingy, just a few spots that were stuck together. Not bad though, unless the bit of dryness affected it, it's not a real heavy sweet, but a good bold sweetness.

It's been years since I had chew. I usually bought Levi Garrett or RedMan. Man, this thread has really got me wanting some Levi Garrett, I'm gonna have to grab my snus to curb me from succumbing to my old ways and pillaging the local smoke shop like a kid in a candy store.

Throw a wad of wet paper towel in the bag and let it sit in the fridge overnight. That'll do the trick for moistening it back up.

Ah Odurren, too late for that. I tried an experiement already, I dumped it in a bowl, added some water, stirred it all up, and stuck it back in the pouch, closed it well, and gonna let it sit untouched till tomorrow. If it don't work well, and it happens again, I'll try your idea.
