lol now before I get into it you'l remember me from my general wintergreen rant. I love and enjoy wintergreen flavor (just not generals :-D )
Either way at the gas station filling up my truck and they were having a promotion sale of Copenhagen wintergreen for 2.75. Which is a STEAL and curiosity got the best of me so I had to get a can!
First off it uses it's traditional Copenhagen can. Paperboard with a metal top. TRADITIONAL name, not that "Cope" crap (same brand just the damn abbreviates for the whiskey, hickory, strait, etc flavorings).
Secondly before I opened it I was trying to remember Skoal, Kodiak, Grizzly, TimberWolf flavorings to see if I can compare it to anything. The lady got the can and I smelled the wintergreen before she gave it to me!
Before any tasting lets remember wintergreen is wintergreen and there's not TOO much you can do to it without calling it something different first. So I opened it (God I love Copenhagens paperboard cans) and there it was. Very moist, long cut, and easy to pinch and hold together. Grabbed a nice pinch and dug it in. And if I may, I'll first describe my feelings for every other wintergreen brand.
Skoal: Traditionally mellow wintergreen
Kodiak: Strong wintergreen
TimberWolf / Husky: Cheaper mellow wintergreen
Grizzly: Cheaper strong wintergreen
Copenhagen Wintergreen: Strong, but sweet. Its wintergreen, no getting around that. But its the sweetness that compliments it to a degree that makes it a cut above the rest. I very much so enjoy it. Swallowing it is easy on the throat but it tastes like it'll kick your throats ass if you do. But the sweetness! I can't describe it any way other than that and that's what so pleasing about it. I personally think its a dip that'll attract die hard users of a certain brand and can easily turn it into their go to.

Not making a habit out of it, but I have my urges for dip every so often myself and a can of this will be rewarding in itself. Thumbs up Copenhagen I believe if this holds well you'll dominate the Wintergreen section easily.
