    Copenhagen Original Long Cut

I've been wanting some of this for a while, but for the last few weeks, every place I went to, was out. I have been mainly using Straight(Skoal, Grizzly, Red Man, Copenhagen), but I've just been kinda burnt out on that. So, I went to this Wal-mart, and well, they had ONE can of it, and it was a little old too, but I went on and got it. It seemed slightly dry, but I added a little water, and it seemed to freshen it up. I emptied that can in less than 2 days. Then yesterday, I stopped at COX's smokeshop, and they had the 5-can logs, I had a coupon, so I got a log of it for $15.

OK, mini review here. This stuff is great. It has a really unique taste, that is so robust, deep, flavorful, seasoned, it's hard to describe, but it is so good. This might be the best dip ever, I think. The Snuff has that great taste too, but for me, it's hard to dip coffee grounds. The Long Cut here, is not very long, some say it's a mid cut, but it works. It's easy to pinch to pack. Flavor lasted good amount of time to me. This has a great natural seasoned taste, I don't think one would get sick of. Has a hint of what seems a sweetness, but added or not, it seems natural, and highlights the seasoning of it. This is a great one, and for those that haven't tried it, I really recommend Copenhagen Original Long Cut.

Note the can design is different now from the old pic I posted. The new can has the 1/3 lid warning, and now says "Original" in a little rectangle on the side.

I've had my eyes on this one for awhile but have not tried it yet. Now I see they have a "Copenhagen Extra Long Cut" - Natural also - I think silverish edit: (gray) label somewhat similiar to the old snuff one. Curious as to this one and has anyone tried it?

The ELC is not bad, but I think the LC is better.

Hrmm. I just went to mycope dot com or whatever and printed off a couple $1 off coupons. 1 for the ELC and another for the LC... Now I'm debating which one to try and no I don't want to get both of them cause I'll end up dipping more than snusing and really don't want that to happen. Either way, it won't be the Straight - (That stuff tasted like rootbeer ass...) nor will it be the pouch's... (those kept psyching me out and I ended up swallowing instead of spitting which lead to nasty heartburn...) and No, it won't be the regular snuff cause it took me 30 years to quit that and I'm not going back to it now.

I liked the Straight a lot, and emptied a few cans, but my tastes change, or they go through stages, and the last can, I felt I just didn't care for the flavor. But I think Copen LC is like a mid-cut version of their Snuff. The ELC is sorta similar but it's labeled as Natural, and the LC, and Snuff is labeled as Original. I say get the LC first. Gonna throw some in as soon as I get home.

Went with the LC Original. It's not bad. On like my 4th pinch since late evening yesterday. Kinda annoying spitting again so back to snus but I'll probably use this as a change up every so often. I like it that they still use the "Made on Date..." format. My tin was August 30th so not so bad - > just within the two week frame. It's robust, tobacco-y, hint of natural sweetness, everything that makes Copenhagen stand out with the thicker cut so it doesn't wash up in your teeth like the standard regular 'snuff'. Not bad at all.
