Hi.
This is an initial review of Grizzly Long Cut Mint.
I had thought I had quit dip. Earlier this week I bought some fake herbal dip out of curiousity, and I think it'd been about 2 weeks that I had any dip, and the last dip I had was some pouches. But, ever since I had that herbal dip, which I thought was pure crap and went in the trash the same day I got it, I then had a mental obsession with wanting some real dip. So, I got some. I wanted to try some I had not had before, and this is one of those.
I've never had a mint dip. I sorta take that back, because a long long time ago, when I was first getting interested in snus, before I had ever dipped, and my snus experience was very small, I did get a can of Grizzly Mint Pouches, to see how they might be, used in snus fashion. I was so not used to tobacco back then, and I think it went to the trash the next day. So, it is true I have never tried to dip a long cut mint. So here goes.
Can, nice blue, metal top, looks fine. Let's open it. Grizzly uses some kind of date code on the bottom which I don't know, or care enough to look it up, I have the can and I'm gonna use it so it don't matter. It does have the new warning lid.
Strong mint smell, tobacco seems moist enough. OK, I'm gonna put some in, not too much as I haven't had a dip in a while and don't wanna over do it. OK, threw in a bit... not bad. Slight burn. Decent mint flavor.
Havn't had a dip in a while, but I still think my nic tolerance is built up some, I have been using nasal snuff. OK, getting some nic effect now.
Yeah, as I feel right now, this is decent. I was always thinking I would not like the flavored dips much, but the few I have had were OK, yeah, nic hit now.
I'll post a follow up later.
