    Red Man Fine Cut Natural

OK, I bought some dips today, as I had this craving, and I haven't had any dip in a while. Earlier I reviews Grizzly Mint Long Cut, it was OK, but I still don't think I am a big fan of flavored dip, but it was OK, and 2 weeks without a dip really created a nic effect on me, after about 15 mins, I had to spit it out, rinse my mouth, drink some water, and go lay down for a bit. Well, I feel OK now, and just ate some late lunch, so I'm gonna review this now. I did buy this before long ago, but I don't remember how it was, and I recall at that time, I was still new to dip, and for some reason thought mixing natural and straight together made a good flavor, but the last time I tried that, it wasn't. I'm not a fine cut fan either, but I had a coupon for Red Man and wanted a natural, so I thought I'd see what I can do with this.

Can design looks nice, claims to have a new Flavor Fresh Lid. Let's open it up. Smell.... very zooish, not bad smelling, but very earthy, kinda like when visiting the zoo, and going in the goat area. Hmmmm. I guess I'll try to pinch some for the side.

OK, I pinched the best I could and threw a few small pinches in my cheek. Well, this is not Copenhagen. Not as downright horrid like that Longhorn Natural FC, and not as good as Grizzly Snuff from what I remember, though I did have some Grizzly Snuff pouces not long ago and the flavor was good.

Well, this is an initial review, and so far, it seems OK, I don't expect a big nic hit like I had with that Grizz Mint earlier, because I had not had a dip in a while, and it seems to have quick tolerance build up for me, since I have used it in the past regularly, but we'll see.

As it is right now, it's OK. I don't feel like spitting it out. It does make me know that I do prefer a GOOD natural over a flavored dip. Even though this isn't great, I think I like it more than the Grizz Mint. I'm just more a natural kinda guy.

    I'll post an update later.

I recently got some of this to try. I am no dip expert by any stretch of the imagination, but like Tom I am more inclined towards natural long cut dips. I wanted to try this to compare with Copenhagen snuff.

Pros: Very fresh and moist, smell isn't bad - rather earthy as Tom mentioned above. The most interesting thing about it is that I could *almost* form a prilla with it. It is very soft and stays in place in the upper-deck which is where I will put the remainder of this can as it slides a lot more in the bottom. I'm sure that's due more to my newbishness than anything.

Cons: The flavour faded rather quickly, a bit of a funny after-taste.

I don't think I'll be re-ordering this one, it was rather "meh" compared to the Copenhagen. I'd love to hear other suggestions for fine cut naturals.

I haven't dipped in a long while, and the last time I did I got sick, as I had quit and my body was unused to it.
I have just seen Copenhagen has a new one called Southern Blend, and it kinda sorta maybe perks some interest, but I am so out of the norm of using oral tobacco, it'll probably make me hurl.

I thought the RedMan had a kind of floral taste. it almost reminded me of Kronan in some way, though I preferred the RedMan to Kronan. I didn't like it enough to finish the can, but I'm not a dipper at all. I've been on the verge of buying a tin of Cpenhagen snuff for awhile, but just haven't wanted to spend the money. I have snus, and like it better, but the Copenhagen has an irresistible pull to me for some reason.

If my local store sold snus, I'd maybe get a can, as I don't want to order a bunch or get "back into it" regular. If I get some mouth tobacco again, it'll probably be a bag of Levi.

But to not run off topic, I liked the flavor of Red Man natural, but the fine cut was too hard for me to use. If they had that in long cut, I'd probably used it more often.

I recieved a coupon in my email and purchased a can over the weekend. It is sweet but not as much as the straight flavor cope..

With my first dip I was getting all kinds of flavors but have not used it enough to really make a opinion other then I liked it off the start.

If you are over a daily nic fix then stay away.. I had a few smokes over my vacation but really had the power to do so.

Yes, I should stay away, I am not addicted. But I have been smoking mainly for social happenings. Then I just recently bought some nasal snuff, as I had quit that a while back, but was curious to try it again, but I get such a bad nasal reaction from it, I can't even use it.
