Fine cut v. long cut depends on how you use snuff. When I dip I use about a gram, maybe two at the end of the day, and I honestly find fine cut to be easier. Long cut is good if you plan on packing a fatty, but I'm not really that into that whole plan. Tom is right though, longcut is probably more accessible to a noob.
Also, there is a difference b/t "snuff" (cope, grizz) and fine cut, I swear to god. Don't start with snuff.Comment

I had to give away my can of Copen snuff, I simply could not use it. Yeah, it tasted great, but was like trying to pinch sand and stick it in my gum. I can do it, but it's not as enjoyable to me as long cut. Plus you kinda have to put snuff-cut, and fine cut right up front to keep it together, and I prefer to use the side. I haven't used any dip in a quite a while now.Comment

OK well I have one pinch so far of this, the only prior dip I had was Copenhagen Long Cut Straight. First of all I see what people mean about keeping fine cuts together. Also my can just seems very dry to me, not sure of the age, how do I decode the number on the bottom of the can to a best by or made on date. Anyway the taste is that of dirty ashes almost. Maybe it is just me coming only from straight flavor but I want something less sweet. A few more pinches to decide but not sure about this one. If I don't learn to appreciate it, it will be a one time purchase.

I think I found part of my problem, according to the cryptic ass expiration date system this can was only good till February 7th. So it is a month past expiration. F***

I have no idea what the expiration date was but yes, the natural fine cut seemed a little dry. Tried it a couple of weeks ago on the whim.
The Redman tins seem to have a better lid on them which keeps the product a little fresher.Comment
