    DIP slowly drying up

I've had like four cans opened of DIP and couldn't finish them in a week, lol.

I'm not using DIP all that much anyway..

A can of Wintergreen is already drying up .. Damn it1 It doesn't even give that much juice as it did before. How do you guys hydrate it? Is it ok if I sprinkle a few drops of water in it? That's what I do with snus and it works perfectly.

I've got dozens of cans in the freezer (they'll expire in about a year) Is it ok to keep them in the freezer? (hoping to get some answers from experienced dippers :P )

PS It was only dry on the surface/ I've mixed it a bit and it's all 'WET' now ;-)

Yeah same as snus basically and then pack the can pretty well and put it in the fridge or call it good to go. A few drops seems about right.

My advice: keep one can open at a time. When the tobacco is exposed to oxygen, it will retain moisture for a shorter period of time.

Ages ago when I dipped, I didn't use much either. I'd put a slice of apple in the tin to rehydrate it. That seemed to worked pretty well, and the strong dip flavor covered up any apple taste that may have gotten in it. I've also heard of people using cucumber, which should be a little milder as far as flavor goes, and less likely to alter the taste.

          Thanks buddy.

The apple method works great with snus as well.

Apparently the dip was dry at the surface only (Thanks god the majority of cans are in the freezer though) ;-)
