Grizzly Mint Review

Just received my order ... and packed my lip with Grizzly Mint...

This stuff is great, not very strong as the natural long cut from Copenhagen....
Definitely a natural mint flavor, not as strong as General Mint (I expected it to be stronger)

Took quite a large pinch and lasted roughly one hour...

I tried a pinch of Grizzly Mint Long Cut several months ago when visiting my uncle; he sticks with second-tier dip brands, mainly Grizzly and Longhorn. The flavor was pleasant, as I didn't get any hint of artificial sweeteners. I would compare the flavor to Thunder Frosted. I would rate it a 7/10, since the price is right and the tobacco quality is nearly identical to Skoal.

Copenhagen and Skoal are much better... but it's great mint dip...

I'll have to try the Skoal mint to make a real comparison ... between the two...

Skoal better?! That's blasphemy. There's a reason Grizzly is the #2 selling dip in America behind Copenhagen. It's good quality dip that packs a heavy punch. Ask most dippers: Skoal is overpriced junk with fruity flavors and no nicotine. They cater to girls and pansies. They have the same reputation that Skruf does in Sweden and Norway.

I mean Skoal Peach is better ..... I only had Skoal Peach and Skoal Straight (that's pretty bad)....

I love the grizzly though ... very smooth and nice cut.... lasts long as well.

The Kayak though has a chemical taste in it... I can feel it all the way...

Kodiak even a little better then the Grizzly but would still take my Offroad WG Longcut over any WG dip.

Kodiak Grape tastes a bit like chemicals... haven't tried anything else... yet...

If you like Wintergreen the best is Copenhagen Wintergreen :-)

The Offroad Loncuts are hard to keep in the lip.... I always get it messed up

Cope WG is good and has a very nice mouth feel and dark texture to it. You know you when you get a fresh Offroad can if it resembles the same blackness. IF you see mostly brown just throw the can in the trash.
It turns into a battery acid flavor.

FYI skoal mint is not as good as grizz mint. Kodiak wintergreen LC is actually quite good and the straight is alright. Skoal fruit flavors (besides God-awful berry) are really good and skoal straight is the best there is. Never buy kayak as the taste will be in your mouth forever and longhorn is only good for vodka dip (which is amazing). If you have never tried redman straight then I would highly recommend it... after one log it became my second favorite dip. Copenhagen wintergreen is good, but once you start on kodiak WG and Grizz green pouches WG (I know it sounds bad, but the pouches are much better than LC for grizz green because the chemical tastes go away).

I never get a chemical taste from grizzly green it tastes like wintergreen, sugar, and dark fired kentucky tobacco to me. If you get a bad can then it tastes just ok. Grizzly mint I can't handle it's too minty, longhorn seems to have a mellower mint and their fc tastes amazing but doesn't have enough nicotine, their straight is the worst dip ever made period and wintergreen tastes and feels like acid cleaners. Kayak I like a bit but it's definitely very heavily artificial flavory and sticky sweet.

Quite true...

Kayak is the only dip I've had so far with a chemical taste in it...

Skoal, Cope, Copenhagen, and Grizzly are all great...

started dippen heavy recently trying to find my wave or swagga and this is horrible never again will i put myself down to this stuff like toothpaste i acually have it in now im bout to spit it all out and throw up Ill stick with straight copenhagen all though some veterans said kodiak straight is better
