I'm not much of a dancer so I don't get a chance to dip. Besides the wife has a bad back.
Snusers who dip...?

I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Dip is okay, although I prefer Swedish snus. I would recommend trying Timber Wolf Natural Pouches, since they have a decent flavor and have lower levels of TSNAs (they're manufactured by Swedish Match... by the way).
P.S.
When using Timber Wolf Pouches, I place the portion in the upper lip and forgo spitting; I have yet to encounter any stomach problems.

I've had the Skoal "Snus" and those portions are just too damn big to fit comfortably in my upper lip. I wonder, are the dip pouches the same size as the snus portions?
-Oh and if you mean compare to Skoal snus I can't say as I have not tried it. But based on pics I have seen I think dip pouches are bigger. But I think most dippers put them in their lower lip which is probably what they are intended for.

You tried heroin? damn... I wouldn't do that even if I was paid.... can get hooked in hours..
And Chad- I have tried many different dips, but have only tried cope and timber wolf pouches. I would say that the difference b/t pouch and loose dip is not as great as pouch and loose snus. The only real prohibitive thing about the pouches is that they are such an enormous rip off, and, if you are like me, they are way too big. I think a can of pouches is like 23 grams, but that comes in somewhere around 12-15 pouches (never actually counted.)

I saw a guy buying a can of skoal at a pub in taiwan some years ago and i was like.. it looks like a can of snus! (i did not know "dip" then) and the name "skoal" sounds like when some foreigner says "skål" which means "cheers" in swedish. i bought a can and baked it like a snus prilla and put it in my over lip. It was not bad and have done it some times after and no problem swallowing the juices, though i dont know if its especially good for the stomach.. wont buy it again though since i know i can order snus online now...

I occassionally enjoy me a good can of Grizzly Wintergreen. It's good, always fresh (the stuff moves QUICK, very popular dip), and moist so it's the easiest dip to pinch. It's delicious but I can't do more than a can or two a month. Snus and General is my true love. Grizzly is just the girl at work I have sloppy sex with sometimes before coming home to the wife.

I'd recommend the following to get a good cross-section of the different types, flavors, and styles of dip:
*Copenhagen Long Cut (this is a "natural" dip, salty with no sweetness--why American tobacco companies haven't made a natural snus is beyond me)
*Skoal Wintergreen Pouches - These days, I am more apt to dip pouches just out of convenience/laziness. I find they are also less flavor-intense.
*Timberwolf Peach Long Cut - I find this one pretty unique. The first few pinches are damn good, but I couldn't use it on a full time basis. But a great example of fruity dip.
The Cope LC is quite low in TSNAs, around ~5.1ppm according to a 2008 study*. Timberwolf is also known to be low, but I've never seen a study that includes the Peach flavor. Regardless, I have a feeling that the difference between the 1-2 of snus versus 4-18 of most dip is fairly negligible compared to a cigarette. From what I've read, dip used to be considerably higher in TSNAs (like in the 20-70 range if I recall, though I couldn't cite the source off the top of my head), but that many efforts have been made over the years to reduce it dramatically.
Definitely try a pinch of some long cut. Its a cinch to work with and keep in place. Fine cut is really kinda like expert mode--think coffee grounds that don't stick together well. I find dip to be enjoyable in a different kind of way from snus. Have fun!

I used dip occasionally before I found snus but i was never really a big fan. I found the smell very off-putting and I have a very week stomach when it comes to smells lol I did enjoy the flavor quite a bit though. I haven't tried pouches before, with everyone I associate with pouches=pussy lol

But dip is really harsh on a weak stomach .... if you happen to swallow the juices you're a dead man.... did it once by mistake and my whole throat and stomach burned for like 20 minutes....
Probably it takes practice....
He said it was like small razorblades, I only felt good from the Skoal cherry, so it all depends on the person really.
