    Skoal Flavors Going Away?

I was in the tobacco store the other day buying some Timberwolf Peach and Skoal Vanilla so I could mix them together and make Peaches and Cream. When I was checking out the sales lady told me that all the skoal flavors (I think she meant the fruity flavors) were being cancelled in the very near future. She told me that one of the reps had just let her in on this the other day.

    Anyone heard of this?

I know some states have tossed around that flavored dip ban, but I dunno if it's actually official or not.

I don't think this had to do with the ban; according to the sales clerk the rep told her the flavors were not meeting sales expectations. Although I think flavorgate may have had something to do with it if this is true about them cancelling the flavored stuff.

I don't think they'd discontinue it. What would all the kids dip then?

I think that is the point of the proposed bans. However, if the makers are doing it on their own, it would be because the products are not selling well enough - which I don't believe.

The kids like natural too, they'd just switch if they had to.
