Northerner has standard black mud jugs for$ 12.95. I been spitting at work in a coffee cup. How good are these? Pretty nice? Worth the price and shipping? Anyone use one or have a good alternative??

I believe a few members here have one...I say they are very classy, well made and serve the propose. I don't dip but am thinking about getting one for my used snus portions instead of using my old ashtrays.

You will never regret getting one. Now that you are aware they are available you will often think of getting one until you have one. They are very much worth the price, and you will have a proper receptacle for used portions or prillas. I have two and intend to get more. they are easy to clean. they don't spill and are not offensive to others. Whether you dip regularly or occasionally they are conveinent to use and you don't have to worry about spitting into a smaller hole. all you got to do is get onto the slanted top and gravity makes it go inside.
IMHO get some of them, you will enjoy them. Best of all you won't have to wonder why you didn't.
Just like with the Ice tool and Ice box You won't be happy till you have at least one.

I have a red and black one that I got for free when Skoal was doing a promo last year. For some reason, I rarely use it. Prefer to spit in a bottle. The Mudjug is well made, though...maybe I'll start using it again.

I have a grande collection of tooners. I do like the mugjug for the purposes of it falling over and not getting spit and baccy all over. As almost a 100% snuser (i have the odd dip now and again) i love it for snus. I lower deck the hell out of Grov and Ettan los and i do spit or i will get the nic'ups (only on rather large dips mind you). Its worth the money man! I'm not sure why people would buy them for portion snus purposes there are many nicer alternatives for spent portions in my opinion.

HAHAHAHA yeah, they are sweet. Have you noticed the funnel is a bitch to get out of the ones with heavy graphics? The blaze is a BITCH (i got the blaze i bought by bro a black.. slides right out).
