I went to the tobacco store today, which is usually out of my way, as I was going that way, so I stopped in with the intention of just getting a 5-roll of Copenhagen Original Long Cut, which is my favorite dip. I then see on a shelf there, the tubs of Stoker's moist snuff dip. I asked if they had Natural Long Cut, and they did. The 5-roll of Copen was $16 something, and the tub of Stoker's was $11 something, and the Stoker's tub says it's equal to 10 cans.
I'd never had the Stoker's dip. I did have some Stoker's chew before, and I was very impressed.
So, I took a chance and got the tub of Stoker's Long Cut Natural, hoping I will like it.
So, I have before me, an unopened tup of this, and will do an initial review of it.
I'm now opening it up.
OK, that was not easy, it has a sorta perforation around the lid, but it didn't want to separate there, so I ended up pulling a bit of the label off, but it's fine. Let's open the lid now...
Well now.... has a little empty can to use, with a sticker on it. The dip itself looks nice and dark, and really smells great. Smell is way better than that Timber Wolf NLC I had been using. Kinda has a Copenish smell.
Let's try it now. Hmmm.... the cut is very stringy long cut. Not as crazy as that WB chew, but kinda simiilar in a shorter way. This is really good. I'm glad I got this. It's salty, but not too much. The cut is very compfortable, super easy to pinch and pack. Has a similar essence as Copen Original, not quite, but still, this is very good, and has a very nice natural seasoned blended taste. This tub is rather big, about 6in tall, I don't have a ruler, maybe 5in across.
Now I'm getting a nic effect, noticeable, kinda strong, whew... way stronger than that Tiber Wolf and Skoal X-tra, and Oden's EP, of course I have more than 1g in, maybe 3-4.
Subsided a bit, and I switched sides. I haven't eaten anything today too, which may have an effect. Still feeling it.
Overall, this is really good, with a good easy to use cut. Nice natrual blended taste, very noticeable nic hit, and a big bargain, making single cans at just over a dollar.
I'd recommend this, if you like Natural dips. Not as good as Copen OLC, but what is, but a very good replacement or alternative.
