★★★ Buying Dip Tobacco Online and shipping it the E.U ★★★

I wanted to post this to make dip tobacco users in the E.U aware of a few things and a way to overcome this issue -

FACTS

~~~ You cannot buy more than 50 grams of dip tobacco from U.S. based online stores and have it shipped in the EU.
~~~ Bringing more than 50 grams (that means one tin) means you can risk your package to be confiscated.
~~~ I've read/phoned/informed/and been through this myself so not talking non-sense.
~~~ The only store shipping DIP tobacco based in E.U. is Mr. Snuff (as long as I am aware)


I know most guys prefer snus, but there are some dippers too.

How To Overcome This

Let all dipper send an email to Northerner, Snus.de, BuySnus, SnusCentral and ask them to have the dip tobacco shipped from EU warehouses. (this way we can receive as much as 3kg's of dip in one go, I suppose the dip would be much more costly than it is when we buy it from U.S warehouse because of the added ****ing european tax, for example Mr. Snuff now has a few brands of moist snuff available and sells for $7 or $8 a can which is double the price as is in US locally. Anyways, the price is the price, at least we can safely order as much as we want (Up to 3kg's in one Go. (And Mr. Snuff was inspired well to have dip available in the EU warehouse, but they should definitely bring more varieties and slightly lower the prices a little bit).

How long has it been like this ? I got 10 cans last year sent to me in the UK, two weeks from doing the order i had my dip...

The laws are since Romania joined the EU, about 4 or 5 years

I've heard that UK citizens don't have any issues when it comes to bringing dip from US

That's unlucky for you lot then. The only issues we have now with US orders is five cans per order/packet, if i order 10 it's spilt into two packs of five, then posted. I guess UK customs aren't as bad as your lot. Howevery, something has changed in the UK because a couple of years ago i did orders of more than 10 cans from the US, and it was sent in one parcel.

Romania accepts 50 grams / online shopped package.

I've read the law with my own eyes.. so.... yeah

quite nasty for many of us

but dip IMO should be legal in Romania (its not snus)

But how well is the law actually enforced? In other words out of five orders over there months how many will actually be caught.......if 3 out of 5 orders of 5 cans each get through then it pays to buy cheep and take the loss of the two orders

it's very badly enforced but that's the law I've read it personally and couldn't believe it

Well if it is really poorly enforced......................then know the risk.......calculate it into your cost..........and order.

I'm not sure what all the consternation is about.

In the state of Georgia oral sex is illegal..............on the books...............but that never stopped Linda Thompson...............

if there's more than 50 grams of tobacco inside the package (that means trouble)

it's a political order from the EU, they don't want business with US they want business inside EU alone

so if I receive a package from EU it doesn't even get checked, I'm simply free to go

I guess there are different laws in different EU countries.Here if you get more then 50 gr of tobacco from outside of EU you just pay custom tax.I ordered 40 cans from lilbrown.com (now they don't ship outside of US anymore) and I just paid 20% tax and it was still a very good deal for me

Precious......I've already sent snus to you in Romania and you recieved it without a hitch. Stealth method does work mate. Tom also sent you some tobacco from the USA.

I don't think, we have some snus laws.My orders(snus,dip) were always proceeded as nasal tobacco and I did not protested since snus is illegal
