Coupons are wasting my money

First it was the Skoal snus. Not my thing. At least I got a dollar off.

This time, Skoal Xtra Crisp and Rich. Crisp is OK, tastes like 80% citrus (which I like) and 20% berry (which I don't.) Rich, oh how stupid of me, I don't like berry and I knew it was berry. I'd say it's 80% Cherry Kool-Aid and 20% Cherry cough drop. So, my BOGO coupon got me one useful can, so same price, and I should have just bought Citrus.

That said, there's a creepy convenience store near me that has a sign saying Cope for $1.79. The place has a real Texas Chainsaw Massacre feel to it. Wish me luck. I'll tell my wife to call 911 if I'm not back in an hour.

I used snus for a few months when I quit smoking (and all nicotine) about four years ago. Shipping was cheaper and there were no taxes when the stuff came into the US.

And I think we all know that "American snus" is horrible. You still have to spit the first 10 minutes and it tastes like candy. And always with the wintergreen.

Dip tobacco is the cheap stuff I can grab anywhere. The spitting is irritating, but it's the cheapest nicotine around. I do have two (Chinese knock-off) EGO-T vapers coming, so that'll be my fix while I'm indoors.

But, with all the flavors of snus I tried, and that's probably less than 10, I never really liked one. They were acceptable, but didn't taste like the tobacco I like.

I'd prefer to smoke, in some alternate reality where that's cheap and socially acceptable. And won't kill me.

How come so many people read this dip forum and no one posts?
