    Copenhagen Southern Blend long cut

I just picked up a can of this. I can't distinguish a whole lot of difference between it and regular long cut. Tastes like there might be a very slight hint of bergamot in there somewhere. The nic hit is really strong at first, and after about 15 minutes it seems to wear down.

So far, it's alright. I think I'd prefer it in pouch form because I hate having it all over my mouth.

My first reaction was a tad sweeter and smokier then the natural. Almost Ettan like.
I have not used the straight flavor in years so I cannot compare to that.

The straight is very sweet and smokey, much sweeter than the natural and normal LC.

Yeah. I can't handle straight dip,way too sweet. but Southern Blend is by FAR the BEST dip I've ever tasted!! It does have a hint of bergamot. And it is slightly sweet. It really reminds me of a faint taste of sweet tea.

This stuff is AMAZING!! I hope they never get rid of it.. I'd encourage EVERYONE to try it!

I wish they made it in pouches. I'm not a fan of tobacco bits all over my mouth lol.

Rumor has it that it won't be released to the entire country until Q1 next year. When it is it will probably be Northerner that will sell it into Europe.

Yep, I actually talked to a marketing rep from USST at a recent trade show about when it would be available in Chicago. What he said is that it will slowly roll out to major markets starting in November with total saturation by Q1 2013. I'm not a big dipper but there's something about Southern Blend that reminds me of when I used to use plug chewing tobacco back in the day. :-)

idk but I sure didn't taste any bergamot in it. I haven't had it in a couple months but yeah it would be my go to dip if Stokers was more expensive - and for about $1.75 a can, Stokers Straight is kinda hard to beat. Southern Blend reminded me of Southern Comfort. Sweet with traces of fruit maybe peach? Bergamot is a little highbrow for rednecks. You know, "Berga whoo? Naw you can have your mamby pamby chicken shit. Gimme some of that there Longhorn!"

Regular Copenhagen Longcut was my favorite dip.
This new blend seems like it'd be good. I've seen it at the stores.
But I quit oral tobacco a while back.... sometimes I think about it.. but I know I'm better off without.
If I did revisit anything... it'd be loose leaf chew.

You can get SB in Florida, a friend of mine who lives there sent me some, how old are you? If you are underage and looking for people to send you dip you won't get that here. Northerner sell SB now so have a look there if you can't buy it locally.
