It may be a stupid question, but I'm curious. Can American snuff such as Copenhagen be handbaked into a prilla like snus? It sure would make it a hell of a lot less messy.

Not really. It is too dry. I mean you could try moistening it but I wouldn't waste my time.

I will say however that getting long cut to stay together for upper decking is not too bad, depending on the brand. It isn't exactly a prilla but it will work. I have done it. Technically you should spit but there is so much less spit when upper decking it is almost irrelevant. I found nicotine absorbtion to work out ok up there with long cut as well. I have done it at work before when out of snus.

Yeah, the only reason I'm using it is because I'm out of snus and can't order until tonight.

Well it can work just fine as a replacement and if acquiring snus ever becomes impossible it is what I will switch to. Being in the south dip is easily acquirable everywhere and cheap. Still I prefer snus. But once in a while dip is a nice change of pace/flavor.

Red Man Fine Cut Natural was very moist and I tried it upper-decked with decent results. It was pretty close to loose snus but didn't stick together quite as well.

That's funny because it's actually made by Swedish Match believe it or not. I love it too, it's just got such a pleasant natural sweet taste, copenhagen can get too salty. But it's hard to find depending on where you live.

The Swedish Match/Pinkerton Tobacco factory for the U.S. is about 40 or so miles from me lol. That being said, it's incredibly strange that I cannot find any of their brands that are fresh (Timber Wolf, Red Man, Red Seal, and so on).

I want to tour and or work in the place lol. If you call the number on the U.S. General cans, you'll probably get a guy from here.

                Halo,

I'm not sure where abouts in KY you are, but if you are anywhere near Louisville, there is a shop called "Kramers Smoke Shop" in Downtown Louisville that sells snus. The address is 401 E. Jefferson, Louisville, KY.

Don't expect a huge selection, but last time I was there they were selling General Mint, General Wingergreen, General Mini Mint, General White Portion, General Original (?), and General Los. I don't remember prices exactly, it wasn't cheap. I believe it was something in the $3.75-4.50 range (per can). If you are desperate you could check that out. It'd be better for your body than using more dip. Also, they do 10% off if you buy a roll. I used to buy my snus there when I was running low and waiting to order more.

*Edit* I know this if off topic. I just thought it might be worth knowing if you happen to be in the area.
