I'm the same with the snuff.. the stuff floats all over my mouth. I hear ya about the snus order bro, I remember those days. I'd be sitting there with my Grizzly cans counting down the days until my order arrived. I've been tobacco/nicotine free for 2 months now. I have a stockpile of snus in the freezer at home, but I'm stuck without and I'm not willing to smoke.

Yeh dip takes nicotine (from a snusers perspective) to a new level for me, it kicked my arse the first time I tried it, now I take sizeable pinches. Waiting on some dip from the northerner :-)

Intersting, I've heard a lot of dippers complain that they don't get a buzz, how big of a pinch they take, and as soon they try a strong brand of snus, they're flying high, lol.

After my first few weeks of dip (what i started out on) i no longer got a buzz and towards the end of my use of it i would finish off a can in 4 pinches. I remember one night at work i put in 2 thunder raw and it did give me a bit of light headedness...perhaps the different cuts and process of the tobacco effects you a little bit at first?

For the short period of time that I dipped, I felt that dip was much stronger than even Swedish snus. I did the pouches, and coming from someone who is primarily a snuser and not a dipper, I used it in the same manner I would snus. I upperlipped it and I gutted it when I had to and spit when I could. I only dipped because I had coupons from people who didn't want them, so I figured why the hell not. When I was done with those coupons, you'd better believe I went straight back to snus. I did Skoal Xtra and Grizzly. Besides that, even for the only 1-2 pouches I did a day, I really felt it in my gums. So, considering that I find dip to be harsher than snus, I believe it when people say they don't get buzzed off of snus unless it's something really strong.

I have to ask a few questions.

1. How old are you guys? I haven't caught a buzz off nicotine in 20 yrs. No matter what form.

2. Why are you continuing to use if your still at the stage that you get "buzzed"? I am not condemning you just wondering what the pathology is. I've done just about every drug under the sun and nicotine would not be my choice for getting a "buzz". Believe you me if your using it to experience an altered stated, you are barking up the wrong tree or plant, if you will....... Booze,pot, and coke may be cheaper alternatives in the long run.......

The nic releases slowly over time making you feel content for longer, its not a kick in the face like Skruf extra stark or general extra sterk etc

Copenhagen Snuff is definitely pretty strong, the problem for me is tastes so good that whenever I get back into dipping it the next thing you know I'm taking pinches that are a quarter of the can and my tolerance gets so high I can't enjoy snus and nasal snuff. So I'm trying to avoid it.
