    Northerner to Canada

I have two simple questions I need to ask anyone who is Canadian and or have experience with Northerner.com

    - Does Northerner ship directly to your address? Or, does it go to the local postal office?

    - Ordering to Ontario, in small orders, 2 - 3 cans. How likely are you to get nailed by customs?

    Thanks in advance guys!

I have never used Northerner myself, but even though I'm not Canadian, if it's anything like the US, it should ship right to your door. Also, with shipping, it's not economical to order 2-3 cans at a time. Also, judging by what others have said on this forum, I would steer clear of Northerner. I've heard they've had nothing but issues. I, personally, think your best bet would be to get with one of the many generous members on this forum and order through them. I live in a state in which the shipping of tobacco is illegal, but have yet to have any problems via this method. All one has to do is look in my freezer

Yeah I just received a PM from a member with a lot of posts, so I assume hes well known here. I just want to know the prices that he offers and I'll give it a shot!Canadian prices are ridiculous. Tobacco taxes are crazy here.

I ordered a tub of Stokers Mint from the northerner and was dinged with 38 bucks in charges, id say its best to stay away. If anyone could help that would be great!

It doesn't really matter who you order from you are likely to get charged customs taxes at least some of the time. I have a tub of Stoker's Natural LC on the way and even if I get nailed for $38 bucks I won't be too upset. That will work out to just over $5 a can or about 1/3 store price for dip.

I'll probably order a tub of mint soon too - reviews on it are favourable.
