    Canadian Dips

Hey guys . I have been dipping for atleast 2-3 years and I live here in Canada . As you guys know in Canada we mostly have Skoal and Copenhagen . Since I have tried all types and flavours available to me I was wondering what your guy's take on other brands are or what you'd recommend me to try ! Heck maybe one of you guys would be generous and send a tin to a fellow dipper ! I'd like to hear from you guys !

    Thanks

I dipped Kodiak wintergreen until it jumped to $4+ a can. After that I moved over to Grizzly, mostly straight, wintergreen, and mint. Grizzly is made by the same company that makes Kodiak, so I didn't se a huge change in quality. Grizzly is cheap ($3/2 cans), strong, and tastes great.

I gave up dipping after I started using snus, but it's a very popular brand out here.

Thanks for the info Oregon ! I've known about grizzly for a while now ! I'm going to have to try and find someone to do a trade with or someone to hook me up with a tin since I can't get it up here ! I know that in some provinces like Ontario it's available but not here in Nova Scotia :/

I'm in the same boat for dip either skoal or cope, use to see a brand called rooster but not in awhile. When going to the states for work normally grizz would be a real nice change though I found it harder on the gums then skoal. Only other one I tried was Longhorn and dear god after my first dip it went in the trash.

Redman is my favorite dip@ Real nice minty chemical taste to it, strange as it sounds... Close second is Grizzly, both long cut

Do you mean the redman wintergreen? I found the wintergreen to be too overpowering and very synthetic tasting, the straight was ok though. Grizzly WG and Copenhagen WG are much nicer, even Skoal WG was nicer lol.

NO the regular long cut tin, it's not supposed to be mint but smells and tastes like a hint of it. Wintergreen dip is bad
