long cut vs fine cut

I always been a long cut dipper and dipped fine cut once but the fine cut was expired and completely dried out so I didn't get a pleasant experience. Does fine cut deliver more nicotine?

This is just second hand info RD, but I hear that the courser grinds deliver nicotine quicker and the finer grinds deliver longer......
