    Red Man dip

I bought a few cans of Red Man long cut because they were $1.50 a can. It's good stuff! As well, it does not burn the hell out of your lip because it has a very low TSNA content (it's manufactured by Swedish Match... it's pasteurized like snus). I use Red Man when I'm at home in order to go through less snus. Has anyone else tried it?

It's not bad. I like the fine cut natural (upper decked), but I prefer Los snus. If I ever found myself in need of tobbaco and did not have snus available I would use it instead. I think there is a Red Man Dip thread around here someware.

I'm wondering if some FC Natural could benefit from some sodium bicarbonate and a trip through a coffee grinder, topped off with a bit of extra water...it's pretty fine, even for a fine cut.

I would say the same of the long cuts, but they're a bit sweet for snusing...I just lower lip 'em and call it good. The straight is the only straight dip I've ever liked.

I never thought of it before, good idea. I wonder if we could get some input from someone with a greater knowlege of snus manufaturing process. Zero perhaps?

If it is the case that snus could be made this way, it could be valuable when the mail ban takes effect.

Precisely what I was thinking. I don't like the feel of the Natural in my lower lip "as is proper"...it just makes a mess, doesn't stick together like long cut. My only concern is that the Natural just doesn't taste that good (and it's kind of bland). I'd use the straight, but it's a bit syrupy...

I ran out of RM wintergreen longcut and I'm low on lös, so I paid a visit to Mr. Kim's mini-mart and asked for Redman fine cut natural. Mr, Kim informed me that he personally is a smoker but he has a friend who told him "Fine-ah cut, nature, beddy beddy goo!" translation: "Fine cut natural is very very good".
I tried it before hopping in the shower after work and Mr. Kim is right, Redman Finecut natural is "beddy beddy goo". It has a weird mesquite taste, but I'm warming up to it. Top-lipping Grizzly is pretty satisfying too.

EDIT: pretty sure I'm in the "hardcore" category when it comes to my only vice; nicotine. I just spat out a Jakobson's icefruit portion and 3 mint Oliver Twists in favor of a giant wad [topside] of Grizzly mint. I just had a moment of self-realization while looking at my little red mini-fridge after counting 52 unopened cans of Sweden's finest. Alas, I know I'm not alone ye brothers and sisters. We are the rare warrior breed that daily ingest enough of Jean Nicot's namesake to stop a horse's heart. We are snussers.
            snus on.

I enjoy the hickory taste as well, but it can become overwhelming at times. Has anyone ever tried Timber Wolf dip before? It's manufactured in Sweden so it has low TSNAs as well.

I didn't know TWolf was manufactured in Sweden, I picked up a can of their 'wolf packs' pouches 2 days ago, disappointing. Redman is made by Pinkerton, owned by Swedish Match NA also, so I expected that level of quality, but the TWolf wolf pack[wintergreen] pouches left a sickening taste in my mouth and gave me wicked heartburn. For American dip, I'll stick with Grizzly LC in mint or w.green and Redman LC w. green and maybe the Redman "Fine-ah cut, nature beddy beddy goo" will continue to grow on me the more I use it. Meanwhile make mine real Swedish snus and Toque snuff.

Wow. You should try to make a Guinness world record for the most amount of smokeless tobacco that can be kept in the mouth for a fixed amount of time.

I really wanted to like red man dip I bought a can of the fine cut, long cut and the wintergreen, I could not stand the flavor of the fine cut or the long cut, then again the last time I dip I was 14. I don't think I could substitute red man for tre ankare or gotland gul los, lucky for me I found a tobacco store 15 minutes from my house that sells General los and portions and catch.

I currently have a pris of Redman wintergreen in. Yeah, it is the only US dip I will use now. Not bad but is has the distinctive American flavoring, which is shit. Too strong of a flavor, but tolerable. Still, it is like comparing a Swisher sweet to an authentic Cuban.

I know a guy who chews a pouch of Levi Garrett a day. Funny thing is, it's all at the same time.

Guy looks like he has a baseball in his mouth. And oddly enough, I've never seen him spit.

yes, I have in some stoker's peach right now. Its like having your own peach iced tea machine... but you know its loaded with sugar.

I know a guy who has a huge gut from chewing so I think its better to spit because otherwise, its like you are drinking syrup all day.
