I am terrified of SKOAL because that is what that guy with no jaw used.

Yea, It seems like most the people I know that have or had mouth cancer have been mostly Skoal users. I used to dip two cans a day, but I gave that up for a can of snus every two days. I still enjoy a few dips though.

I got a can of TW fine cut natural the other day. I used to dip copenhagen snuff, and I would say that the TW is easier to handle (being a fine cut and not snuff(there is a difference, I swear)), but the flavor was not quite as robust. It also seems to be easier on my gums. Just an opinion, but I would reccomend the TW fcn.

I think I choose my dip in each situations. Straight goes well with some coffee etc.
Natural goes all the day when being anywhere work home etc. Wintergreen is no1 sometimes hmmm.
Fruit dips could be nice after dinner and other flavoured sometimes.

I feel I have concluded my dip and chew experiments.
Some very good flavors, and some I liked better than others, but I believe I am done with it(for now anyway).
Best Chew: Levi Garrett. 2nd best: Red Man Golden Blend.
Best Natural: Copenhagen Long Cut. 2nd, Grizzly 1900.
            Best Straight: Copenhagen, 2nd Timberwolf.
Not interested in the various flavors, though I did try Grizzly Wintergreen, which seemed very good, if you like Wintergreen.
            Twist: Cumberland Sweet Twist.
            Plug: Days Work.

            I only liked Long Cut.

I agree. The Wolf FCN is really soft. The flavor wasn't bad at all. Not as good as Copenhagen, but Copenhagen is truly a trademark flavor all it's own. Comparing T-Wolf Natural to others on the market, I'd say it's in the top 3. I settled on the RedMan Natural though. Not quite as soft, but bolder on flavor IMO.

I'm usually not a fan of wintergreen, but I've been picking up a can about once every two weeks. The coolness of wintergreen and these heat indexes of 115 degrees and a humidity of like 1,000 % is a good pairing.

You must have gotten a bad can or something. I tried Timber Wolf Peach Long Cut and I love it.

It has a very distinct peach aroma and flavor without being overwhelming.

This incredible midwest heat has driven me back into dipping moderately. Snus just doesn't work when you are working outside all day in a heat index of 110. Maybe its the salt? I have no idea, I just know that it is more difficult to snus when you are losing your body weight in sweat.

But he was also just reviewing the pouches called Wolf Packs. I've got about 50 cans of Twolf apple, and I f'n hate it. Apparently one of the local stores just tosses their expired snuff outback and my father-in-law dug it out. Yeah....he was dumpster diving, but only for snuff. He left all the bags of Cheetos and the 2 liters of Fanta!
Have you made any headway into that pile of TWolf Apple?

I tried a can of it a couple months ago and it wasn't too bad.

I still haven't tried Kayak Grape.

What was your final verdict on that one?

LOL! No...I haven't. I think I've only cracked open a couple out of the hundred or so in times of a tobacco emergency. But it's still all in the bottom drawer by my bathroom sink. I figure when the end of the world comes it will be my plan B until tobacco supplies come around again! By then it may be dry enough to smoke. lol

Kayak grape was good too. I think I liked the apple more, but the grape was not bad, like grape Kool Aid.

Used with common sense and with good oral hygeine you got a better chance of being hit by a bus than getting cancer from any form of smokeless tobacco IMHO ymmv thou .
