    I just got some Copenhagen

I use swedish snus regularly - but not very much.
Today I got a few cans of that american snus - and that's quite an experience...
That really taste different, and I'm sorry to say I don't mean that in the nicest way.

The good thing about it is that it don't spread around inside the mouth as much as swedish (lös) snus, but apart from that, I can't really come up with any other idea of getting more of the stuff.

Give me some General any day, and it'll reduce my smoking quite a bit.

I think regular Copenhagen has a great taste. I prefer the long cut, as it stays in place much better.

It's the fiberglass. Throws off the taste.. Otherwise, Copenhagen is some pretty tasty dip.

General lös is #1 I've used it for 10 years, IMHO Copenhagen taste like road tar.
Just my humble opinion and may not reflect that of others, results may vary. <-- Edit added

I've always really enjoyed the smell of road tar. I love driving by construction sites on a hot summer day and just letting the intoxicating aroma fill my vehicle. I also enjoy the smell of skunks and sulpher for some strange reason.

I can upper deck Copenhagen Long Cut and it actually stays in place better than los snus. Hopefully Swedish Match releases a Long Cut variety. It would sell great I believe, since long cut tobacco stays in place really well.

Cope lc is good, you can't compare it to general but it's one of the closest in taste to Swedish Snus. Grizzly wg is my favorite dip but it's pure wintergreen and a slight sweet flavor from adding the right amount of artificial sweetener that blends well. General loose and portions are good stuff and ettan loose is the best imo. Unfortunately my loose snus are dry and not so good.

Add a small slice of Apple to the tin and re-hydrate your loose snus - it really works.

                  Timber Wolf and Redman.

                  Both produced by Swedish Match.

True, but the juice from dip is still too harsh to swallow habitually. I know Kardus is long cut, but it would be nice if SM created a General Long Cut snus that could be purchased year-round.

I do have a bitch with this method now I must speak up. The other day I took some apple rind/peels and placed in the ashtray of a refridgerated & never opened but 'past it's best by date...' Ettan using the knived slots trick to allow moisture into the can. For about a day I was stoked and thought this was the shit, now it tastes like literal shit! Probably didn't help I let the apple rinds in there several days and out of the fridge tossing around in my pocket, however, this experience has now unfortunately turned me on Ettan portions and I'm selling off my remaining stash - 4+ tins to a co-worker tomorrow.

Back on topic: Maybe the fiberglass shavings are moAr timid in the Long Cut Copenhagen. I've yet to try me a tin of this. Miraculously, dip just isn't cutting it for me anymore the little I've delved into since switching off regular Copenhagen for 30 years back in Oct last year and starting into snus.

                        That would be interesting.

Those dips are made by Pinkerton Tobacco, old old company, Swedish Match just bought them, but technically, I would not call them SM produced dip. Maybe I am wrong, but that's how it seems to me.
