Making Snus From Tobacco Flour for garden?

Hey there. I planned to make big amount of snus using tobacco flour which contains about 1-2% of nicotine. It looks just like regular nasal snuff. I got about 1kg from local garden store lol

I used to use my recipe:

1. Grind 100g of Virginia pipe tobacco and put it on 50 degrees of celsius for 2 days.

2. Add about 50ml of water and mixing it.

3. Add half of teaspoon of Sodium Chloride, teaspoon of potassium carbonate, and half amount of sodium bicarbonate. And Mix again.

4. Put it to the fridge for night.

5. Add 5 ml of propylene glycol and little of cinnamon and ginger.

It smells great and gives me a great buzz. Here is the question: can i use that cheap tobacco flour this way? Will it be more dangerous? This product uses as insecticide.

It's probably a rustica strain, and since it isn't meant for human consumption, it's handling will be unknown. I'd be leery of doing that unless the tobacco can be traced to the source.

Yes it's rustica strain. But i don't now so much about handling. It's tobacco companies waste than produces when is tobacco drying and grinding maybe.

And without the heating and resting period, you are really making flavored wet tobacco paste with a hell of a lot of PH adjusters! Not the snus I use. That Rustica is gonna kick like a mule..I am really worried about the bacteria count with your method..........

Ok, yes, it's harmful maybe. But i pasteurizing it and now i reached PH not so bigger than my favorite Oden's Extreme Loose. Anyway, thank you.

It's okay. I had a question and asked this here because i found this forum as best forum about smokeless tobacco with a lot of experienced people. Not a troll. Maybe my style of writing looks like troll because of my knowledge of English.

Once upon a time, Roderick from toquesnuff.com sold bulk unground nicotiana rustica. It was produced and marketed for human consumption. While I didn't make snus out of it, I did make what amounts to a nuclear nasal snuff of a "toast" consistency. That shit blew my head off and the nasal drip was horrendous. Ultimately, I used it as a mixer to boost the strength of weak flavored snuffs. It worked quite well. It was the flavor of rustica that ultimately ended that experiment and I imagine there is not enough cinnamon in the world to counteract this.

I also added some small amounts to bowls of pipe tobacco and it had a similar effect smoked. If you do use this, be careful. Rustica is what native americans used to literally trip out on nicotine during ceremonies.

Finally i tried to make a little amount. Just added potassium carbonate, some water and glycerol. Put about 1,2g of it and felt some strange. Not a pleasant burning like regular snus.It was a terrible feeling like very sharp razor cutting my gum many hundred times per second. After two minutes i got strong lightheadedness and my body is start to numbing and i saw little elements of my thoughts projecting to the wall.
