    SnusX

    Anyone know anything about this?

Was browsing Northerner.com today and saw it.

    http://www.northerner.com/en/snus/No...Portion-22310/

Make your own snus - Save money!
One package contains 240 grams - approx. 460-480 portions (equivalent to about 20 cans)
The only thing you need to do is to add water, and keep in refrigerator for 3 days.
This Portion snus can also be used without adding water - then you will get dry white portion snus.

    How to make your snus:
Add water and keep in refrigerator for 3 days.
For every 24 portions you should add 10-12 ml of water - depending on how dry / moist you want your snus.

Got a little more info from them on this.

They have another website with more details and a little flash video about how it works.

      http://www.refillsnus.com/

SnusX - Do it your self portion

      3 different ways to use:

      1) Use it like it is - white dry large portion
      2) Add water your self
      3) Customize your own snus flavor.

V2 will be offering around 15 different flavors to give the possibility to play with different combinations, these will be ready within about 4 weeks time.

Looks interesting. I'll be interested to see what our portion users think. Is it economical and is the cost cut along with the mixing potential worth the extra hassle?

          $26.61 for the kit.

          460-480 portions per kit.

So about $0.05 per portion, or $1.20 for a can of snus if you make your own - if my math is correct.

I think it's like roll your own cigs, it'll save money. I didn't do it when I smoked because I was lazy.

So I think it's about the economical snuser, and how this will appeal to them.

Sounds like fun, and so little money. I will get and play with at least.

Wow! This is awesome. I'm going to add baking soda to the water to give it a higher pH.

Reminds me of that old Matthew Broderick movie "Project X"

Maybe they used chimps to test the snus.

                            Hmmm... dehydrated snus you say?

I guess if you're the type of person that thinks Taster's Choice Instant Coffee tastes as good as fresh brewed coffee then SnusX is for you.

I'd figure something like this would have already been out. Considering the higher prices and taxation over there anyways.

                              I also enjoy instant coffee.
