Fichtennadel means pine needle, and that's what you get. Heavy bright pine scent, and fairly strong menthol, but not as strong as the strong English menthols. Very crisp, with long lasting scent. It's not an all day snuff by any stretch, but it smells especially nice for going outside. It's alo good for when you can't refresh your snuff too often, as the scent lasts a long time. rub your nose after it starts fading, and the scent comes back nicely. If might not be to everyone's preference, but it's definitely worth a try.
