Just tried this for the first time. It was surprisingly moist and smooth tobacco goodness. A bit of coconut flavor maybe. The nicotine in this nearly blew my head off. I've been snuffing for quite awhile now and nothing has come close to the punch of nicotine this one delivers.

However, I believe they retooled the recipe at some point over the last year and the newer GRUNT lacks the used panty smell.

I liked the first batch the best. Coconut panties. Mmmmmmm....

The second was very much like an American sweet snuff....

The third I have never had.....

Where's Whalen? He is much better at this snuff...and will probably be by shortly.

No panties smell with this can. More straight tobacco than anything else, barely the coconut that I hear about. Maybe a little chocolate. The nicotine punch nearly rips my head off, which doesn't usually happen to me with snuff. Good stuff

This is disappointing news that they have reformulated it. The P-tang scent is what makes this one of my fav.s. Thankful I have about 30gr left of the good ole batch.

That is probably the third batch...chocolate sounds familliar to the description I remember.

I hope the fourth batch is like the first.....I would buy in BULK.

Well, I saw this thread earlier and thought I would sit this one out, I thought I should start to show some restraint. But, since I am a Gruntaholic, here goes. Third batch is indeed a chocolate start with a pronounced cigar finish. Good tobacco, moderate nic, but has absolutely none of the original coconut panties character. I am smitten with the original, and yes at one time I had serious concerns with hoarding pounds of it, not so much now, it seems like a very wise move in retrospect! My main beef with the latest batch is not so much the quality, it is rather rich and beguiling, what bothers me is the complete change of character. I mean who the hell is blending this stuff? You could not get a more different snuff than this batch, not even close! I am glad you get a great amount of nic from it, I do not, but I do not chase nic with snuff, I chain snus as it is. Enjoy it, it is very interesting snuff, and I enjoy it for the cigar finish, best I have encountered. Send me a PM and I will hook you up with some of the original. They need to wake the hell up at Dholakia, BTW, Namrata has been missing in action too!

( And I do think the "new" batch has its own unique merits, I crave a cigar snuff sometimes, and this one has the best of that taste in it , for me anyway).

I'm serious about the panties smell. It's mixed in with the coconut but is pronounced and there. It might be a bi-product of the natural ammonia mixing in there and the effects of the coconut with it. C'mon whalen, you even admitted some time ago that you caught this whiff I'm speaking of.

Yours is on the way too! This stuff is the original batch, from bulk, and it still has some ammonia on it it is that fresh still. Enjoy! I didn't mention your name in this thread since you only replied by PM, as I requested, I just keep other names on the quite side. Just in case. The stuff is double bagged and roughly 8 grams, keep the total weight down to one stamp, I am a broke ass bastard nowadays!

Stuklu - if you feel like it I would enjoy some Tom Buck! I have tons of W&H, 600 grams. I am set on that one. Both Tom Buck and W&H are top of the line snuffs. Enjoy the Fubar, I just love it. Everyone has a favorite to champion, thats mine. Like I said I think the last Fubar batch is one of the finest Cigar tasting snuffs I have had, and that chocolate start is real interesting. It is worth having in its own right, and that reminds me to go get a pinch, or two! Later.
