    Bon Bon

This is new one from Molens and one of my favorite scented snuffs. The base is a fermented Virginia to which is added rose oil, tonka bean, and a whole host of other things. Now in theory this is a snuff I should not like. Rose snuffs always seem to smell like soap or old lady lotion. But this snuff is mesmerizing (almost like a fine chocolate candy-- like you would buy in France).

The grind is course but it is not hard to take. It is not an only snuff of the day but it is an all day snuff. It has a nice little burn to it and a good nicotine kick.

I love this for a change of pace from my normal diet of plain tobaccos and toasts.

One of Jaaps best offerings to date (and that is saying something)

Just in today from snuffstore.co.uk very exotic fragrance the grind is almost like a "Rappee" very granular (but small) and feels moist when rubbed between the fingers. The scent is similar to the Macuba but also very different. I have had two of the Molens Snuff now the only way I know to describe these is they are "Beautiful" the taste and scents are not perfumed in the same way as some of SG or Wilson's might be they are fragrant but subtle, strong but not heavy yet at the same time very satisfying. Macuba and Bon Bon are both worthy of a few bucks from your wallet.

To me the Bon Bon is a true work of art, everything about it is subtle, at first, then it develops in the nose, and is just wonderful in its complexity! It really lets the tobacco shine. One for the ladies originally, but it has that wonderful understated Molens base tobacco balance.

I'm not feeling the love for this one. It's just a little too subtle for my liking. The scent is good, and it's very easy to take, but the primary scent of this is like the after scent of a stronger brand. It comes on light, and fades fast. It's definitely worth a buy once, but with all the snuffs on the market, it's not one I'll have to get again for a long time.
