This is one that I have been waiting on from Roderick for quite some time. Next to F&T's HDT this is the best toast out there.

It is a bit richer than HDT and not quite a buttery. However, what it lacks in butter it makes up for in pure tobacco taste. To me Toque Natural Toast tastes just like smelling a fine cigar before it is lit. It's like having your own walk in humidor in a snuff box.

Love this one. It, Toast and Marmalade, and Spanish Gem are the best of a very long line of great snuffs from Toque.

The Natural Toast strikes me as being a blend of American scotch, and HDT. It's quite good, but I honestly don't like it as well as the previously mentioned styles. I prefer the full on flavor of the styles I mentioned, as opposed to the middle ground of the Natural Toast.

I may not have the opportunity to try very many toasts, but I love this one.

Very good toasty/nutty tobacco taste with plenty of nicotine to keep rabid addicts like myself at ease.

One of the very best that Toque has to offer.

I just got this in the mail today and was outside, at the mailbox tearing at the package to get the Natural Toast out. I must have looked pretty sketchy snuffing it out of the bulk bag Roderick sent me.....

Let's reflect. I like American dry snuffs, most notably Tube Rose. I also like high dry toasts, most notably F&T HDT. They are both fine, dry and tobaccoey.....what I look for in these styles of snuff.

Oh man.....Toque Natural Toast is exactly what I want from a fine, dry, natural snuff. This is fantastic. Not too smokey (rather toasty if you will) not too butterey, and a great tobacco flavor. This is perfect for me.

I usually wait a full day to do a review.....and I plan on using this snuff all day tomorrow.....but I really, really, really like it.

It is what I had always wanted when I opened a new tin of scotch or toast....but never quite got anywhere else. It hits the middle of the spectrum for me and is a very well balanced snuff.....and balanced snuffs are what do it for me.

Edit: Best toast ever. Love it. Bulk buy....400g. Used it all day and was wonderful.

I agree toastss are good. I picked up a jar of Railroad Mills snuff a couple weeks ago at a farmers mart.. Its pretty good. Kinda smells like barbaque sauce, wich isnt bad. but i think i like wilsons Irish toast snuff better.

American "toasts" are generally referred to as "scotches" and many, if not most of them, have a fairly pronounced smokey or barbeque-ish flavor which in general differentiates them from Irish & English toasts. Toasts from across the pond are renowned for their buttery smooth tastes, fine grinds, and moderately high nicotine levels. American scotches are frequently even more finely ground, almost dusty, and are noted for their smoky aromas and high nic levels. Such scotches as Rooter and Bruton are famous for their head-spinning nic blasts.
