Toast and Marmaladre

Toast and Marmalade and Natural Toast are my two favorite offerings by Toque in this Genre.

Unlike Bourbon or Whisky and Honey, the toasted tobacco comes shining through on this one. This is a great intro to Toasted Snuffs

The grind is much finer than the other Toque blends so it may be a little trickier to take. However, the moisture level is just right so it will not present too much of a sniffing challenge.

The orange flavor is natural and not overpowering and plays nicely with the toasted tobacco. The Nicotine kick is pronounced

With all the hype that Whisky and Honey gets T&M is like the restaurant where all the locals go........off the beaten path.............unmolested by tourist...............quaint...............with superb food.

This is one of Toque's best snuffs and yet it receives far too little of the accolades it deserves.

Very interesting stuff, and does take some getting used to. This is a snuff that A)You should begin with a 10g can of, and B)Use the entire can before you make your decision on it, but C)You absolutely should try it. A very good introductory toast.

I found out that too much orange aroma clashes with this, otherwise great toast flavor.

After spending a couple of days with this, I found out this wasn't to my liking.

Lime Toast? Now we are talking! Toast and Marmalade? does nothing for me.

I must say, this is an excellent snuff. The orange marmalade flavor is spot on and the toast after it is heavenly.

But there are others I prefer.....

Lime toast and Natural toast beat this toast out for me.

The orange is so spot on you can smell the fruit, rind and pith all together.....and it took some getting used to. This is fantastic as a snuff. Maybe not a bulk buy, or even a must have but I will happily buy another ten gram tin when the mood strikes.....for now.

And who knows.....maybe in a few months I will have a half pound of this snuff in a mason jar. Stranger things have happened.
