French Carotte

This snuff didn't really wow me. It is decent: I get sandalwood and cinnamon. But there's also a lot of soapiness. Just a run-of-the-mill perfumed snuff for me, nice to have before bedtime, just like any of 'em. Not a standout.

I'm not a fan. I don't care for the heavily perfumed floral snuffs. Some of them smell like baby's ass too. That's exactly what I don't want in a snuff. Jockey Club is one of the few heavily perfumed snuffs I like, and that's an uneasy alliance. It comes very close to being disagreeable, but there's something I like about it.

Dr. J R Justice for example... French Carotte seems rather tame in comparison, perfume-wise.

Yeah all my perfumed snuffs have a baby powder smell to them. I'm hoping my nose will get somewhat used to them because I ordered a good selection of fruity/frenchy/perfumey snuffs. Part of me likes the baby powder I just wish my nose could pick out more. But it is in training, this is only my second day with no cigarettes whatsoever.

Very heavily perfumed - smells like a whores handbag but oddly I like it. There's something Frenchly sluttish about this snuff.....maybe Moulin Rouge dressing rooms too. It's decent on nicotine, if it wasn't it would be in the bin. Not bad. I think it will be a re-order for occasional use.

I like it, but I think I am in the minority by wishing it was more floral and perfumed. I think it is toi sweet with less "bite" than I like. It would blend well with Royal George imo.

I prefer the F&T one but the WoS is sweeter but I find the scent lasts longer than the F&T, both excellent snuffs and both regulars for me.

The color of it is striking also. I might mix it 3:1 with something SPish and see if I like it better.

I just think it lacks snap a bit, but I will be keeping it around.

The aroma hangs around in your nose for about an hour and is really quite pleasant.
