    Best S.P.

I thought I'd kick this off to start as it's my favourite snuff.

An all day every day snuff that always delivers the desired effect. Not too harsh and not too subtle. Lovely tobacco aroma and one I keep reaching for out of all the Wilsons of Sharrow snuffs. Very satsifying.

I always wondered about the S.P.'s. Now I'll have to try this one. Great review and congrats on being the first one to post in the nasal snuff reviews forum Frosted!

I have just recently tried Best, SP 100, and Tom Buck.

Tom is the strongest in flavor
Best is solid and not as fragranced
SP100 has a little floral mixed in

They are all very good and do not over power the tobacco base

Oh and by the way Tom Buck and Queen Extra are the same snuff just sold under two names

You're right about the Tom Buck and Queens Snusdog. I've got loads of Tom Buck and Queens - they're supposed to be stronger nic but I don't think they are. I just think they're harsher, drier and they make me snot more. I'm not knocking them though - they're pretty good.

I find Wilson's snuffs tend to dry out faster than most (something about those blasted tins). Next time you take a shower, take the drier ones into the bathroom with you and leave the lid off the tin. Steam the place up (it may take two or three times to rehydrate). Then see what you think.

This drying doesn't seem to be so bad with Best S.P. but tends to be very prominent with the Queens and Tom Buck but that's probably because they're drier in the first instance.
I'm ploughing through an awful lot of snuff at the moment and Best is still the best - by a very very long way.

This is really good back to basics-snuff; solid, satisfying tobacco base with medium bergamot scent, perfect for all day use.

Got a half pound drum directly from Sharrow Mills, so no freshness issues for me!

Two years on and this is still the best snuff around. This and Tom Buck - Tom Buck being a bit coarser and a bit stronger. I've bought 120g of both Tom Buck and SP and intend to stock up by the bucket load. No other snuff maker can touch this.
However, I find the other Sharrow snuffs, and I've tried most of them, to be surprisingly under par by comparison.
