    Honey Menthol

This is my favorite menthol snuff out of all the ones I've tried so far. Yes, there's a very generous amount of menthol -- perhaps too much for some. (Menthol fanatics will be overjoyed.) But the excellent natural honey flavor smooths out the rough edges of the menthol and prevents it from being too piercing. It's a perfect balance of opposites -- warm, sweet, cuddly honey and sharp, cool, refreshing menthol.

As usual with Wilson products, the tobacco base is as much a part of the package as the flavorings. This is a slightly darker brown than average, semi-fine grind, and slightly on the moist side. Something tells me there may be a higher percentage of Burley in this blend as compared to other WOS snuffs. Likely it's the faint but pleasant bitter notes in the tobacco. And whether it's merely due to an interaction between the honey and the fine tobaccos, or because of an added flavoring, there are little hints of cocoa that peek out, and grow as time passes, to give a nice chocolaty exclamation point to the finish.

If you like a little sweetness with your menthol, this is a nice change of pace from the fruity ones. If you're a huge menthol fan, you must add this to your collection. I have a feeling HM would make an excellent blender, too. This is on my bulk-buy list for the future.
