Lemon Toast

Yes that's right "Lemon Toast" I'm a fan of one of the most popular Citrus Toast on this board "Toque Lime Toast" and I think if you are also you'll enjoy this as well. A nice lemony zingy taste on the front end and a true toast on the back end as it develops, the smoke is light but you get all of it and the citrus is clean and very authentic.

If you liked Toque Lime Toast, this is definitely one to try. Citrus toasts seem to be weird animals, and can be polarizing too. I know that Lime Toast has its lovers and haters.

This is much in the same vein, a solid lemon aroma on top of Wilson's toast base, and is maybe a bit more complex than Lime Toast.The Lemon sticks around for awhile before the toast comes out, and the tartness of the lemon plays very well with the smoky, leathery character of Wilson's toast. Like Lime Toast, it can be a bit sharp....On my first toot of it, I got that same reaction as I did with my first Lime Toast...'Oh dear God, did I just snort kitchen cleaner?' But rest assured, it's a fine snuff. One for any toast lover to try.

This is definitely a case where the master has learned from the apprentice.

I can get Lemon Toast locally from Fox 's tobacconist here in Dublin and quite enjoy it even though I'd prefer stronger citrus scent. Unfortunately only those smallest tins are available at the moment but better that than nothing.
