Did snuff just give me an ear infection?

Never in my cognitive life have I gotten an ear infection, not even from a cold.

Then I started snuffing. I currently have a cold for the first time since I started, and just a few hours ago my ear filled up with fluid and hurts like a b****! I'm getting it checked tomorrow.

Do you suppose the buildup of mucus from my cold combined with the buildup from snuff helped cause the infection?

    Everything is possible..

I've got a tooth infection because of snuff. (My sinusitis is pretty bad at times)

Problem is that the eyes, ears, nose are all connected one to another so it's pretty likely to get an infection for snuff.

The nose and ear are connected so it is possible.

Possible, Yes! Probable, No! Coincidental, Most definitely.

I got an ear infection a few months ago but it was from my daughter. I actually had stopped snuffing for a few days at the time when it happened so I blame not snuffing for my ear infection.

Double up on the medicated. Doctors orders...or not.

"Did snuff just give me an ear infection?"

If you replace snuff with Jennifer and ear with cock, I have asked the same question.

I have ALWAYS found over the yrs ANY GUM problems get solved or never start if you take 1500 to 3000 units of vitamin c a day doubble that if you got a infected gum never had gum recescion duno and I doubt it would reverse it but it sure couldn't hurt it IMHO . IMHO anyone dipping should with a good daily rgimen of brushing your teth and mouth wash . but thats just my 2 cents it works well for me . I have dipped smoked chewed you name it for 40+ yrs

PS it also works well on a tooth infection if it hasn't gotten to bad it a stop it a lot a times .

Just a FYI thing take it for what you feel its worth but its from experiance ! YMMV of course ! But VITAMIN C has kept mu gums in good shape for most of my 40+ yrs of all types of tobacco use !

I heard somewhere that in general smoking and nicotine usage require larger doses of vitamin c to maintain a balance, something about nicotine lowering vitamin c in the body.

Personally I would wager that in general people don't intake enough of that vitamin from natural sources.

Vitamin C, about 1000 mg a day has been really beneficial in keeping my sinuses in check. It's just hard to get into a continual rythum taking it everyday.
