Cigar/Pipe Tobacco Tasting Nasal Snuff

Hey guys... Keeping in mind that I'm still new to snuff and have the 10 can sampler from touqe...

What would be a brand and flavor that would have the Flavor profile of a fine pipe tobacco and a fine cigar flavor from Mr.Snuff without having to do a ton of research and reading... Keep in mind I know next to nothing about cigars or pipe tobacco except that I like some of them..

I'm not looking for a giant stogie type as they don't appeal to me at all, But more of a small type of cigar even maybe with a sweet type of aroma. I sometimes smoke the Middleton's Black and mild or backwoods. mostly like the smell of the backwoods. You know how you get a wiff of someone smoking a pipe and really like the aroma and would like to taste it, Looking for that as well.

Would be great for those times when you want one in a social setting or Resturaunt but can't... a couple with a nice nic kick would be nice too... Any recommendations that i can get from Mr. Snuff or others?

As some of you know... I'm really diggin' on Touqe Spanish Gem.. Any others like this i might like?

Try Tube Rose.

Strong Tobacco Flavor. Similar to pipe tobacco.

Villager Braniff Caribbean, Swiss made Cuban tobacco snuff. I would also recommend F&T Old Paris.

It's a little sweet but has a very strong tobacco flavor.

Any natural toast will do though.

Molens de Kralingse latakia Ao 1860, if you like English pipe tobacco blends. I know this goes very well with a pint of stout.

I'll have to start reading reviews on some of these... It would seem so far F&T HDT May fit the bill... Thanks Bigblue & darwin.. As I really don't want anything with a Subtle hint of tobacco like Touque original that i can barely detect. I mean I want to feel like I'm really smoking the pipe or cigar without actually doing it...I want the Strong aroma and taste of a Pipe or cigar, Not just a hint of tobacco...

The reason i want something like is is because we were at a restaurant on Friday and I came armed... And I mean Armed with Tobacco... I'm try not to smoke the ciggs, But!! I brought an arsenal and variety... I had the smokes in my pocket which BTW I didn't smoke... I had 5 different snus, My Touqe Spanish Gem which i did while we were there, But Some people were smoking the Middleton's Black and mild sort of cigars and the aroma got to me and found myself wanting that more than ciggs or anything else and didn't bring them or so I thought. I had forgotten they were in the glove box from a few days before.. Son Of A Bitch! Coulda had one.. I just want to be able to go to the men's room come out if we are indoors and for the next 15-20 min. enjoy that scent and flavor with my guinness without smoking one...

You may want to consider experimenting with grinding your own snuff from your favorite cigar or pipe tobacco. An inexpensive bladed coffee grinder will serve, if you don't mind a coarse texture. For a fine-textured snuff, you'd likely need to invest in a burr-type coffee grinder, and they are a little pricey.

I made some very nice coarsely-ground snuff from Samuel Gawith's St. James Flake pipe tobacco. It has a wonderfully rich flavor.

Bernards. That's a good snuff for most people. It's German. You can get it at Mr. Snuff or other places. I can't really take it as it bothers my sinuses when I use a bunch, although I have 2 different kinds on hand.

The Feinster Kownoer is a good pipe tobacco like scent. It's medium to dark tobacco scented though the stuff is pretty black. It's moist so far as snuff goes. To me personally, I think it smells like cows. Bovine. I don't really take it much.

The Offenbacher is good too, and that's the other one I have. It's just as moist though it's got a darker flavor and somewhat of a cherry flavor or other dried fruit. I'd recommend those and using them outdoors makes them better IMO.

These don't smell like burning pipe tobacco though. They taste like the tobacco, but in it's unburnt state.

I'd take a look at our Toque Quit. This one is a smokers blend and has a strong tobacco flavour.

I find RR mills plain reminds me of cigars, albeit cheap cigars.

No work at all, really. Pop the tobacco in a $10 bladed coffee grinder, press the start button, and 10 seconds later you have coarse snuff. Easy as pie.
