Dholakia White not full

I just got my order from mrsnuff.co.uk, and one of the things I ordered was Dholakia White. When I opened the package, a lot of dust came out, and I breathed it in, the Dholakia White was wrapped in plastic, and in a baggie, but when I opened it up, it was 1/5th empty.

Is this normal?


side note: How do I sniff it without it hitting the back of my throat? I never had this problem with Ozona President.

It's because it's sooooo fine. That stuff settles during shipping and packs down a bit. Kinda like potato chips

Try pinching it if you don't already and just smell it. That pressure is enough to get it where it needs to go. Also, you could try simply rubbing a bit of it on your septum. Other than that, it's just a fine ground snuff so it needs to be taken lightly.

It sounds better to say that it was 4/5 full for what it's worth.

Good advice. Go slow with this one, It will get you. I like to mix it with a little 'Grunt' sometimes.

Tap boxes need a bit of headroom to work properly. I'm sure it's close to 10g, but to verify, you'd need an accurate scale.

What Wicked said. Pinching is what I do with the white, real tight pinch and I slightly smell while slowly releasing the pressure of my pinch. But it's still hard for me not to get a little in the back of the throat that stuff is extremely fine.. Off topic I see you ordered rooster as well. I shoulda added that to my order. Only American Scotch I've tried is the we Garrett. Do you like it better than the WE?

I'm actually an extreme noob when it comes to snuff. I bought some Poschl Ozona President this summer, and only got into it about a month ago, and recently finished it, so I decided to order something. This is my first online order, and I ordered Dholakia White, and Rooster, so I have no experience with WE Garrett. The Rooster is very dry, and very fine, almost like Dholakia White. The smell is good, I really like it, but it's hard to sniff it right, because it's so fine.

That's true, but Ozona President was full to the max when I bought it, so that's why I asked.
