    Nasal snuff or Snus?

I use nasal snuff once in a while, but it hits me harder and faster then snus.
Is nasal snuff dangerous like cigarettes? Or the same as snus?
My mother freaks out when I use snuff because she says it is not safe at all.

And here in Norway the snuff comes with a huge warning label 'Very harmful'.
No way I'm going back to cigarettes.

Snuff isn't nearly as studied as snus, but I consider it safer tbh. If for no other reason you don't get the gum recession issues. Imo, they're close enough to be equal, and any harm difference is splitting hairs, and not a big difference either way.

      Thanks lxskllr.
It's great during winter times, can you recommend the bullet by the way? Because people might think I inhale other things then tobacco if I'm outside

I'm really not a fan of bullets. They're kind of finicky, and deliver a small dosage. If you're set on getting one, I guess a toque bullet wouldn't be bad for the price. For the nicer metal bullets, look around for reviews. Some are better than others, and I don't have first hand experience. To me, using a bullet looks more suspect than pinching, or using a tap box. In general, if you look guilty, people will think you're guilty. Pull out the snuff tin, don't try to hide, and take a nice pinch. They'll either think you're legit, or have the biggest balls in the world :^D

I forgot what company I think it was wilson's said it best.. That in 200 years of business they haven't had one lawsuit or health claim against their product.

Oh and I like the bullet. Especially for out and about. It's great in windy conditions.

Hahah, great.. :P Will check out some reviews, Ozona raspberry, president, and gawith apricot are the only ones available in Norway.
But they are all great snuffs imo. Thanks again. Cheers.

Sweet Snus is great, but as of late I've been more into nasal snuff for some reason.

Snuff goes great with cool fall/winter air. I use more snuff in the winter time. It just feels right :^)

Other than maybe irritating the sinuses and making your nose stopped up, I don't see it being "dangerous".

I read somewhere that it is the safest form of tobacco (snuff)

I also read that on a couple "how to use snuff" sites.

I've been taking snuff for a few months, but had to give up on it due to my sinusitis problems.

It flared up my sinuses really bad, however I do take the occasional pinch

Nasal snuff is good, but I use snus wayyyy more. It's just not something I bring around with me and the hit and flavor doesn't last long at all. It is a good occasional usage thing for me though.

I agree. I just started using nasal snuff and I like it, as a flavor enhanced shot 'o nic but not as my main source. It is great though with all the flavors and once you get used to sniffing and don't get that shot of pain in your eye (twice taught me quickly) it's an enjoyable experience.

On nice low stress days I snuff and barely touch the snus. On the rare occasion my dander is up or stuff isn't going right i'm chain snusing. I like using less tobacco in a day but when my body tells me it needs more I oblige it. Keeps me more level.

As for safety, it is tobacco so there is some risk but there is a heck of a lot less than inhaling smoke.
